DOMETIC CFX 35 Powered Cooler at TechnoRV

I've always liked Dometic fridge/freezers. These 12v fridge/freezers are a hobby of mine. I have 5...😳 The problem is Dometic is pricing themselves into a category of there being better options available in the same price range. ARB has been there for awhile. My 55IM when I purchased it was a street price of $849. Now it's $1,149. I have a hard time selling them on people.

Hey, I get that. But I see prices going up on absolutely everything, unfortunately.

There you go! Longevity is well worth the price tag. I recently used mine to keep perishables cold on the way to and from the beach. It sat in the truck bed, in the blazing sun, for a good 3 hours. While unplugged and not actively cooling, it kept everything perfect for the relatively short drive. I'm a fan!

I’m having a damn hard time even getting my cfx3 looked at by their own service center. They are giving me the absolute runaround. Two service centers flat refused to even look at mine.

Thanks for the review. Deciding between this one and the 25, as it's usually just me or one other person camping. Do you know if there are plans for Dometic to make a cover for the 25 model? I know there is one for the 35, but don't see one listed for the 25 model. Thanks for a great video.

Is it possible to have the temp hovering at freezing so that you can have frozen stuff on bottom and only refrigerated items on top?

My advice would be to pre freeze the frozen stuff. So that if it's right around freezing it won't warm the frozen stuff up alot
