Dometic Fridge Protective Covers for CFX3 25, CFX3 35 & CFX3 45

Hello. I wonder if this protective case is only for protection from dust, dirt, etc. Or does it also act as a protective barrier to the cfx3, albeit a little, against the outside temperature? but my main question is: will it reduce the noise of the device? because I really like this cfx series and I'm thinking of buying it for the camper box in my car. but I'm worried about the noise it will make while sleeping in the same car cabin. It would be a great feature if it also reduces the sound. Thank you in advance for your answer.

These covers predominantly provide protection against damage. It will provide a little bit more insulation and potentially reduce noise, but I don't think it will drastically improve either. ~ Ben
