@@WanderbusAdventures Yes, everything was still there! Everything worked too :) I bought the bus in Germany. It does not have a Dutch license plate yet, after the camper conversion I still have to get a Dutch camper license plate. It is also illegal in the Netherlands to leave flashing lights and sirens on.

great work team . only advise i have is dont close the blind without shutting the window . the wind can blow the blind clean out of the frame . like mine did . stay safe all

That’s a great tip and dually noted; we probably would have done otherwise. 😖 It’s a neat mechanism we think; I wouldn’t say it’s black out but pretty close. How have you found it?

Hey Yorkshire Rich - first that is nutty it has been a year. Second totally watertight still (fingers crossed). Both this one and the MaxxAir which is a relief.

Hi there. Thanks for the video and the work you shared with us. I'm planning to buy the same window for my Ford Transit Connect as the only window on it. It will be huge, compared to the size of the van, but we really would like to stargaze with my girlfriend. I noticed in the end of video that the window doesn't look like a clear see through material. I was wondering if that's a kind of protection cover you have already removed? If yes, how enjoyable the stargazing through on it? Thank you :)
@WanderbusAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and commenting 😊. This will be mega in a connect, and will give lots of light. Yes it has a protective film on it in the video. Once removed it is much much clearer. Would recommend you do this straight away as if you leave it the film ‘bonds’ to the plastic making it more difficult to remove. The shade blocks out enough light at night too, which is good. It can be noisy in heavy rain, but it doesn’t bother us much. Hope this helps.

Can we have a link to that sky roof
@WanderbusAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely 😊. I’ve added a link to the description. They do come in a couple of different options (vented/non, grey/white, handle/lever). Ours is a grey forced ventilation one with the lever style handle. Hope this helps 🚐🚐🚐
@clarajones7198 Жыл бұрын
you said you went with the forced ventilation option.. I am trying to decide whether or not to get a forced ventilation skylight but have seen on the Heki website that they suggest only getting the one with forced ventilation in a caravan, not a campervan, as it might make an annoying whistling sound as you drive. Is this something you have noticed at all?
@WanderbusAdventures Жыл бұрын
Hi Clara. So we had the same fears but to be honest we can’t hear it at all over regular road noise. I think if you had a super quiet van then you might hear it; ours it at the back of quite a noisy van. So we can’t hear any whistling at all. We have found it’s very windy it does make noise, but it hasn’t bothered us and we like that it vents the bedroom - again if you’re a light sleeper it might be worth getting the unvented one. But it’s not that bad. Hope this helps.
