Im a filipino and i have dificulties at P.E in the U.S. Also im short. But being the shortest is like being a "Little Giant" to sports especially basketball. I keep practicing at home because its fun! You just gotta love sports and build you self up. I build myself up with stamina and height xD. actually, you’d be surprised to know short people can do pretty good in basketball. I’ve noticed they are really fast and can dodge taller people more easily since they are light and quick on their feet. They can dribble faster too since their so smol. Of course they have their disadvantages, it’s easy to intercept short people’s passes and they don’t have that extra height boost when shooting, but it’s not the worst. This is coming from the tallest girl on the basketball team.

I never partook in any of the after school activities meets, except for swimming. Swimming the 500 was nothing but pure fun, even though you’re killing yourself especially since I still had a 200 and 400 relay at the end of the events. Damn, do I hate this pandemic, I would’ve most likely competed this year again, too bad it’s my senior year too. Whenever I was involved with a relay, I was usually second to last-to anchor. Which was good for me, because I was usually recovering from the 50, 100, and 500. I never let my anxiety of me being anchor take control, I was too busy cheering on my mates in front of me.

when i was on the track, right when the 2nd person was passing the baton, they dropped it. so whist the 3rd person picked it up and started running, we were pretty much at the last. i was the final anchor, and so i felt really stressful knowing that i'd have to make a comeback. luckily enough for me, one of the other teams dropped their baton to while passing it to the final anchor, which also happened to be the team in the lead. so i could somewhat catch up, and ended up first.

I was one of my schools' relay runners when it was against other schools on our grounds. I got the part where you run in like an 80-degree angle down with wet grass for 100 meters. I almost came first out of my group... until I crashed because it suddenly turned into asphalt and I didn't expect my speed to be against me. Long story short I tripped and was smeared across the road and a teacher let the person that was supposed to run after me take over since my face was K.O.
