Can someone explain how at 21:48 in the second leg Van Gerwen is throwing (his second three?), on 381, while Rock is still on 500?

Grand Prix format means that you should start with double. At 21:48 you can see dart sign and number 3 on the left from Rock name. It means Rock missed three darts on double in his first visit of the leg.

Look, I like Josh, he's a great talent, but hyping up his match against MVG was foolish. Josh is not at that level yet. But, he has plenty of time on his side. But MVG was always gonna beat him easily here, because that's what MVG does.

Rock's biggest weakness is his double hitting, so I'm not sure why he was expected to give MVG a game in this format. His scoring was off too tonight so he was never going to get near him.

If the doubles aint falling and the scoring isnt there either on the same day and u play against a 95 average (what is like 102+ without double in) Then yea its not playable for rock. He is young and he already showed multiple times he is world class

Partly agree, because they made him like 5th favorite for the World Championship while he didn't even perform on any major yet. He's still very good and has beaten a lot of big names in smaller tournaments! So it might take him a few years, but he will definitely be a world class player sometime!
