Just trying to pay it forward. If I help you, then you can help others. Timeshares can be a good thing with enough effort. Wish there wasn't a need for a timeshare exit company.

A close example of your timeshare usage would be a guy I met in Sedona, packing up at the end of February. He was a snowbird that didn't want to own a 2nd home, so spent 3 months a year at the Club Wyndam. When you are a snowbird in a condo, you still pay your HOA dues all year, which includes subsidizing the utilities of anyone living there year-around (I used to benefit from this!). There's no one there to watch your property for months, so if there's a roof or upstairs neighbor leak, that's not something you want to discover late. I didn't know enough to ask if he was using Last Call for some of the time.

I suspect he was doing so. A one bedroom is available now in Sedona for $339 at the Sedona pines. More availability at the club Wyndham flagstaff for $339 for a one bedroom for three weeks starting end of January thru feb 14.

@@timesharetraveler Not to mention, what would a resort condo cost in these prime locations? I talked to a girl working at Cold Stone in Sedona, and there is such a shortage of housing in the area that she tried to rent a room in a mobile home for $800. By the time she called, she was roughly the 60th caller.

You got it. And if I spend $30k in a year I earn an exclusive night anywhere within the hilton brand ( I splurge and stay at a Waldorf Astoria for those).

@@timesharetraveler exactly! I do the same with both Marriott and Hilton....spending my birthday at the JW Marriott in Tucson....they have a water slide and a lazy river and a free tequila toast at sunset.

Are you getting the free breakfast with your credit card or timeshare status or how? Do you get it every stay? Curious how it works. Seems like a good perk!

I get it both because of my status as a timeshare owner (Marriott) and with a credit card (Hilton). WIth Hilton you get a dollar credit at most locations. Where they have executive lounges you get free access for the breakfast and all of the free drinks, etc....

Good to know on perks. Is there a Hilton or Marriott timeshare you get those perks at or is it just on the regular hotel bookings?
