Gave second dude cte for the day. Suggest when ur fighting someone of lesser skill as him, learn to practice on ur sht rather than just getting punches off to make a highlight. Practice counters, practice head movement, practice accuracy. It doesn’t always have to be a beat down and if it is then get the beat down that helps u not him. U happened him more than you did urself that time. U we’re being pretty throwing sht that he’s gonna download and get better off of. Now ur there landing everything thinking those same things are gonna translate to the next guy.

and your absolutely right, my mindset wasn’t the best. however my plan was to have ring dominance, i was being way to comfortable backing up and losing control and allowing opponents to get off on me (in training)as well as trying to replicate the intensity in a fight. In training it is very difficult to replicate unlike going to a smoker show like this one. ofc it was not my intention nor my desire to beat anyone up, but i can say i had tunnel vision and absolutely see what your saying. I did say my apologies and we became friends and shared a lot of conversation and respect right after the spar

i understand this take and i mean no disrespect but at the end of the day it is boxing bro.. it’s a dangerous sport and while just brutally beating on someone won’t help them improve, tryna always hold back won’t help either. sometimes holding back too much creates a sense of fall confidence and when it’s time to really throw down that false confidence can get you seriously hurt . i believe there is a healthy balance, and although kyshawn landed a lot of hard shots i wouldn’t say he was going out his way to hurt the kid i think he was just really focused on his own work. not to mention it’s an open sparring event/smoker and these are usually held for green fighters to get real fight experience without having to worry about it counting towards an official record. there seems to be coaches as well as the ref and they had the authority to stop it at any point in time. bottom line that kid definitely learned a lot from this and surely will be back better 🥊. peace to you and may god bless you 🤝🏾

@@M3fightz dude it’s not abt holding back, there’s countless things he could’ve worked on. There’s a difference from working on something else rather than sitting there just being a hook merchant to drop someone. Homie coulda worked on his pull counters, his head movement, his defense hands down. It’s not about bringing urself to a lesser level. I’ve been on both ends and they both feel shitty. But more so the being the bully, because I feel like I go in the ring and it was a waste of time cuz all it feels like, is a warmup rather than a spar.
@M3fightz4 ай бұрын
@@ics5073 my bad i’m late but i hear you brotha, not saying your wrong , just tryna highlight that although he could of worked on other things it’s not as if he’s just a bully. as i said i believe there is a healthy balance, especially when someone is training to compete . those moments where you feel helpless but still have to fight, or when you get rocked w a good shot and there’s still 2 mins in the round etc…. if you’re trying to compete only experience can really teach that.regardless the kid he sparred still learned and will grow from the experience

@@AsasukieI was saying. Just felt like a beat down for no reason, no type of knowledge was gained putting it on him like that. Too much emotion really, and the show boating made it 10x worse. Needs gym etiquette

whats your routine as self taught
@kyshawnn14845 ай бұрын
so much attention to detail and footage, form and technique, mental warfare, ring iq, cardio and conditioning, being humble and bringing myself back to earth when i think i’m too cool to do something else, training with pure intensity, be a sponge to knowledge, spar to master skills and experiment instead of sparring to leave with nothing learned or not knowing why something happened and the way that it did. and accepting all the imperfections and complications and also accepting there’s time to be better and every opportunity to do so. As well as attendance, your either in it or your not

My advice is to use more feints and don't allow opponents to get so close they back you up or cover your guard, you adapted well to almost all of the boxers but the last one alot of these boxers had balance and guard problems that you were quick to exploit but add more feints and change the angle consistently don't get caught in the brawls you brain will thank you
