I wish Wattson hadn’t been added to the game. Seeing every team literally just sitting inside a building for the first 2/3 of these games is so lame. The way “Pro” level Apex has shaped up so far is pretty disappointing.

Logan Esquash and that changes none of what I said. Adding a character like Wattson just makes it even worse. After seeing what Respawn could accomplish with Titanfall 2, I was hoping that they’d be able to come up with a way to make an exciting “Pro” level battle royal experience. But it’s turned into this. Apex is at its best when it’s fast, in your face, and unpredictable. This is the opposite of that.

I feel a decent nerf to the scout would of been to leave it a sniper, with the ammo caps someone using a scout would really need to watch ammo counts, it being a light weapon is the biggest problem imo.

The fact that the scout eats bullets was the principal reason they remove it from the sniper category and turned it into an AR, with the nerf to the sniper ammo, the g7 was indirectly buff, in two stacks (60 x 2) you can carry the amount of bullets that would take almost 8 slots of sniper ammo(7.5 x 16). I run the scout every competitive game and sometimes i run a longbow when i found enough ammo and space in my backpack to spam the whole game.

Thank you Lupin for not cutting the first 11 minutes of bullshit that the pro Apex players have to put up with. It's still a great game for a semi-casual gamer like me, but it must be frustrating for the pro scene for sure. And franctly, a modern FPS game doesn't exist to majority of casual gamers if there is no competitive scene, due to the importance of influencers nowadays. I know battle royales aren't the perfect platform for competitive gaming anyways, but I sure as hell hope that Respawn tries to make it better for it in the near future, before the game get's crushed by the hype around Valorant and other big games in the near future.

There is a certain level of play where you cant avoid this type of thing I feel like, ( I don't want to compare this good game to fortnite but for the sake of my argument I'm gonna) In fortnite the pro level is surviving as long as possible by hiding in a box, in apex the same type of thing happens but take away building, the same thing with H1, and pub g. At a certain level, good players can usually find a way to survive. And comparing a game like valorant to Apex isn't reasonable. The game can be fun and normally it's fast-paced but put a bunch of ppl who just want to survive and don't wanna take fights in the same lobby this is what you get.
