Hey good stuff! Just getting into bow, are you mainly using light or heavy attacks?

totally depends on the situation, heavies if far away and not in danger, lights when close and i have to dodge, also lights when they are below 50% hp and close/semi close to make use of "closing in" tree perk better

Hey AleexTg very nice domination. I am trying hard to get better at bow but have trouble with the aiming when people moving etc.. Do have some tips or maybe even your mouse and ingame settings regarding aiming with the bow?

these kinds of things are always down to preference and learning, if you do it enough times you will improve if you try and isolate your problems, obviously dont play on a ridiculous sensitivity like being able to do 5x 360s in one mousepad swipe or 1x 180 in a mousepad swipe, you will learn to see patterns in peoples movements and how far to lead shots etc..

Can you make a guide about movement and Dodge? I feel like of a melee hits me Im done, they are always so sticky. Even when i Dodge, i feel i cant create enough distance to counter attack

yeah im planning on making a video talking about my thought-process while doing a fight, or certain fundamentals i always have in mind while fighting, which will include dodging :) might take a bit of time because its a hard video to put together and im working on some other stuff atm but this was already sort of a half-plan that i'd like to do

Nice clips! It give me hope cause I'm just being obliterated in pvp with my boltcaster build. I sometimes feel totally powerless, even when my gameplay is nearly perfect. Now slowly moving to bow/vg.

tbh man bow is a really hard weapon to play, and a lot of stuff counters it, VG buffing bow does make it feel better though, if you enjoy it stick with it man and you will improve, hope you enjoy the bow vg build when u get to it :)

Try sycretic bow instead of BC. Pair with lifetaker. Bow requires a ton of try hard work but you’ll be much happier with the aforementioned. BC is trash unfortunately

do not try syncretic bow, it doesnt have increased dmg from GS upgrade, use Hoplite bow instead

@ not sure what GS upgrade is but syncretic is pre BIS. Obviously hoplite is better but a lot of people aren’t going to have access to Gorgon clears.

in a way, yeah. you cant use a void gauntlet with boltcaster & and the rends from lifetaker make the bow even stronger, if you go rapier/spear/hatchet then boltcaster can be good. I think for my build ultimately, a custom crafted 3 perker would be the best option since i dont use Rain of Arrows & Poison shot

Even a 700gs sycretic is better than boltcaster. I tried a full lightning harnessing build with lightning runeglass and BC still sucked unfortunately.

PvP has gone downhill not just for new world but for other games as well. There is always a meta… always something getting used and spammed. It’s not fun at all, it’s frustrating. To many trolls and douche bags. I’m not the best but I’m not the worst either.

Trolls and douchebags have been a thing in pvp since it began, but yeah exploits and bug abusing/playing meta is a lot more popular now because people make videos on it, however way back when this wasn’t a thing, people would just gatekeep their exploits so they were less widely known, imo if you like the core mechanics of a pvp game then it’s possible to look past this but I do agree that it’s frustrating, but this kind of behaviour has always been around

There’s always counters to the meta though so just build around it! During the hatchet meta I built a medium build with void harnessing, void darkplate, void blade with voracious blade and blood drinker and I destroyed hatchet players haha. Just be willing to adapt to the inevitable meta cringe. Currently running around with lifestaff/Grace GS which has been fun. Slotted with an amber

@ really depends. If you get the drop on me then it’s hard to catch you unless we can slow you down. I play light. Normally you are playing behind on a bow player and hard to catch them
