I think it is fair for SW to have an SW. Everything is so expensive and all you can do is humvee lame. AIR is superior to all, and with laser you can build cheap ass avengers + lasertanks with composit armor and hold the line. Only USAV falls a bit out of line. But they could go paladin tanks. So i'm pretty sure SW should be in pro rules.

The problem with SWG is that it has little going for it, in pro rules it isnt even allowed to use what gives the faction some edge - Alphas, so the faction can only really use EMPs which are immovable buildings, to compensate for that, 1 SW is allowed to be built. Now imagine how would SWG play if EA didnt rush the game's release and cut all the features out, SWG was supposed to have Cruise Missiles, Tomahawk Storms and ICBMs, but since it was all cut they just decided to make the Particle Cannon cost 2.5k and some general promotions are obtainable early. Granted if SWG didnt have cut content, most if not all SWs would still probably be disallowed.

On a 6p map like defcon having top defensive tech isnt a "little going for you" situation. Sit back build eco make alliances and attack with caution until the 50$/vee stops making a difference. A particle is too abusive on this map.

Great to see another FFA. I am perplexed by that MOAB usage anyways. Even if it had gotten a patriot. I feel like knowing theres a massive vee army just dictates that you should keep that in hand. If you had that when he pushed in at the end it would have come from the edge of the map really fast and probably wiped all those vees out. You also could have thrown down the a10 there but i think maybe you had given up already. GGs

Agreed. He could have used the a10 to weaken that entrance and kept moab for defense. Using it offensively gave green the green light there to walk in.

he could have his replay folder set to read only so that the game can't write to it, there's a bug where if the replay file gets too big it would cause a mismatch.

@@CraftMusic when you're playing a multiplayer match the game will create a replay file that will keep increasing in size as the game goes on, when that file gets too big the game will mismatch, it happens a lot in 50k twilight games if it goes for more than 30min. the file is located in the "replay" folder in the generals data folder in your documents, you can set it to read-only and the game won't be able to write to it anymore.

SWG is better in the late game. That's well established. If you want to make it fair, you'd have to change the rules to say SWG doesn't get SW in FFA. To take it away in a 1v1 pro rules might not be fair. But the rules haven't changed much. I think they were established before humvees became the ultimate meta unit.

Hmmm. So if SW gets a Partical Cannon because they need it, what about Tank? Can Tank get their Nuclear Missile since they have no long range ground units? And what about Stealth? He's has no tanks, so he needs his Scud Storm, right? It's just a couple more super weapons for poor Tank and poor Stealth to make it more "fair and balanced".
