Dominica | Breakfast at Jungle Bay

In this vlog, we enjoy our first morning’s breakfast in Dominica, the Nature Island of the Caribbean. As Caribbean natives, ourselves, we really enjoyed this breakfast. Come along with us, and let us know in the comments what foods, fruit, etc. you already know or would like to try.

The Dominican Republic is a major tourist destination in the Western Caribbean, and it shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti.
Dominica is located in the Southeastern Caribbean and seems to be far less known or, at least, less visited for vacation.

Well after this breakfast I would be fast asleep lol. I am glad I came across your channel. I am from Dominica but living and working in the UK for many years now. My husband has never been to Dominica. Mangoes are my favourite fruit I have to settle for the ones in the UK which is just not the same. Thank you for sharing.

Hi guys. Oh they have the provisions in their buffet. Banana and plantains. I’m Brooklyn born but my mum from Guyana. Grew up there til 5 then back to NY to start kindergarten. My husband Haitian so he would enjoy those carbs 😂. The fruit and omelette and the fresh squeezed juice is calling me. 🙌🏼🙌🏼. No Ackee with the salt fish?? NY? We are temporarily in Queens Village. The breeze must be refreshing. 😂. You’re now speaking of the breeze. I’m noticing the pool right there by the restaurant. Sugarcane not for me but my husband loves it. Haven’t had soursop in so long I don’t remember what it tastes like. You guys enjoying it with the Hmmmm’s. 😋. Lovely breakfast Vlog. Thanks so much and see you next video.

Hi Cydney! 👋🏼 Wow! Thank you for your comment! We loved learning these fun facts about you and your husband! My best friend/maid of honor/Godmother to my boys is from Guyana too! Been telling her for years that I want to visit. Man, this fresh fruit was really good! I thought the same thing about how there’s no ackee with the salt fish or at least bakes with salt fish. On day three, we had bakes at the buffet, but no salt fish 🤦🏽‍♀️ so, yes, that can be improved. Overall though, it was yummy! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
