You missed the center of the island. It includes second largest city of Santiago, and mountain towns of Jarabacoa and Constanza. It's worth a visit to experience the cool and balmy weather and equally spectacular views.

Another great video. Been to many places you depicted last Feb. Puerto Plata, Las Galeras which is my heaven and favourite place in DR.. Saw some whales. Bacardi Island. When going up with a cablecar weather spoilt our visual effect to great extent - very cloudy and foggy-still great experiance though. Still envious of your video and dron footage quality. Got dron but quality I got form mine nowhere near to your lol.

Rincón is the best by far. Even made Conde Nast lists a number of years ago. But please, don't drink that water, that's a bad idea. Eat the fried fish 'colirubia' on Cayo Levantado.

Yes, we did like Bahía de las Águilas very much too. Don’t take drinking the water to seriously, it’s just to point out you don’t get a salty mouth 😂 we ate fried fish everywhere. You should check out Google Maps.. of course we did take those and it’s always between 4 to 5 hours depending on traffic. Distance is about 300 km and especially the toll booths can take up some time. When you don’t take highway 7, it even says 8 hours.. 😅

Hi! We stayed about two and a half weeks to make this road trip. Unfortunately I can’t give you any budget. We travel continuously around the world and it was not a holiday break for us. We continued through the entire Caribbean and made about fifteen more videos here. The car was very cheap, around 25 dollar a day. Some smaller hotels can be around that price too. Gas and food is all inexpensive compared to Europe for us. The big hotels that have all inclusive are pretty expensive though, you’ll just have to check the internet for that.
