Don't know your age but I have seen many great NBA Stars since the ear 1970 and I can proudly say that following this game and having played in teams ,that Dominique was better than any other thrilling player after Julius Irving Dr.J.

The Hawks were called with the rest ( The Atlanta Air Force ) cause the team was motivated by D.Wilkins to leap and hustle . When Unique was hot with the rim, they gave the ball ! He was an passer when he knew he was cold . M J on the other hand always wanted to beat any team star by never passing the ball ? But that was why MJ scored so many points !

Nique had such good form on His perimeter shots. His release point , the arc on his release. On the fastbreak he could cover so much floor in A few steps He was a combo of Dr.J and Jordan offensively

Better player than Larry Bird. Larry Bird had a much better team, hall of famers. Dominique didn’t get much help.

Much respect to Dominique, he was a great volume scorer, but Bird was far better all-around. You had to be there.

Agreed Dominique would have won titles if he had rosters like Boston, LA and Pistons. People should stop with the bullshit that a player is only as good as the amount of titles or finals appearances. Nique was incredible and as good individually as just about anybody in his prime.

@Jack Meoff wouldn't even give defense over Bird, he was smart enough that it made him very effective as a team defender despite not being as athletic, his timing, IQ, decision making and positioning made him also highly effective as a defender. He certainly never displayed the same quitter attitude and laziness and stupidity displayed by lebron.

@Jack Meoff Bird was never great as a perimeter defender, but neither is Lebron. Inside, both have different styles, but Bird had grit and determination, hustle and intelligence. Lebron blames his team mates for fundamental things that are his fault, it's pathetic to watch. And he gives up on so many plays, so pathetic. I wouldn't even pick him over Bird for his defense. Not that I would pick him over Bird for offense either. Bird just a better all around player and team mate I'd rather have in my squad than toxic Bron.

@Jack Meoff you are correct, Bird was the Best all around PLAYER ever period and tough,clutch,grit, and heart, Lefraud isn't in the same league as him, he's a media darling in a soft joke league, it's all about him and he can have himself, I stopped watching 20 years ago, the league is a joke
