I am currently enrolled in an ADN (Associate in Nursing) at my state college & the program is a total of 2 yrs. At the end of 2nd semester(December 2020) I will begin taking my BSN (Bachelor in Nursing) courses so by the time I'm finished with my ADN, I will be more than halfway finished with my BSN.

4th semester. There are a total of 4 semester so I am a senior nursing student! We're almost at the finish line! I graduate December of 2021 🩺 👩‍🎓

I also got through school myself I didn’t meet any friends my program was full of mean girls they were super competitive and, would do anything to try and get on top of you. Hopefully I meet friends in the nursing world at work 🙏🏽 from my experience trust no one in nursing school if you do keep it scanty and strictly to the books.

Working as CNA for over 24 years has helped me with seeing all that in person and getting use to different smells. I really think that getting experience as CNA first will help you get prepared for that types of situations

Well I’m working in transportation so my hours are gonna be crazy when I start. Umm well I was gonna go for my lvn to get a feel of nursing environment then bridge over to a asn. okay so i have 3 months left for 8th grade and yes i’m still young but, i’m really interested in the medical field. However i don’t know if i want to be a traveling nurse or a CRNA.😅 In 9th grade you really don’t have much options for any medical field until 11t/12 grade i think i don’t remember if my councilor told me 10th grade too. No don't feel dumb, no question is a stupid question! I am in a two year program, 4 semesters with summers & winter break off. Semester One=Freshman Semester Two= Sophomore Semester Three=Junior Semester Four(Final)= Senior I hope this helps! 💗

I’m a high school student and I got into 3 direct entry programs one of them is 10 minutes from me. (I’m still waiting for my state school to send out decisions) But the one that is close to me is a private school with all the financial aid and scholarships it came down to about $9,460 per yr, but there were some things that were included that I shouldn’t be paying for like food and housing bc I’m living at home. So I gotta call financial aid. Community college is cheaper but you have to grind, get good grades in pre-reqs, have a high gpa and take the TEA’s exam and score well on that. There’s no guarantee that I will get into the nursing program. I’m afraid if I don’t get in I will be wasting time and money. Any advice?!

Literally try your hardest to get a 4.0 GPA in prerequisits, do really well on your TEAS, and apply to the nursing program the day they open the applications. Talk to the advisors at your school of interest, mine helped me so so much.

For me at my community college it’s : Lecture 8-11:30 (3.5 hours) Clinical 6:45-3:30 ( 8 hours) Lab 11-1 (2 hours) Because it’s a 7 credit course they say you should dedicate 3 hours PER credit, which means 21 hours study time at minimum. I work at the hospital as a patient care tech, 40 hours a week. It’s tight but it can be done. I have no kids or man so there goes the 2 greatest distractions in life 😂❤
