If you are on a budget, here's a wonderful eyelash growth booster. Just apply a little plain castor oil at night with a small eyeliner brush. Castor Oil is very pure and gentle and is a proven hair growth enhancer. I had very thin short lashes, and so sparse I had bare spaces. After 8 weeks, my eyelashes are slightly thicker and the bare spots are gone.

I used to use Latisse for several years and then it just stopped working. That's when I started with the Rodan & Fields, and you're so right. It's amazing. My current problem is that my lashes are coming in all wonky... different directions. I have no idea what that's all about or how to correct it, but if anybody else has experienced this I'd love any suggestions. I'm going to order your mascara today! (Love your videos! Dominique I have heard and seen astounding results from the Rodan & Fields eye lash serum. Not having the maintain your eyelashes extensions is wonderful plus your lashes are yours! I have blue eyes and have been using Revitalash with HUGE results! I am often asked if my lashes are real? Sometimes Nordstorm's does have a promo for the product which is basically a two for one cost. I have been using my first tube since July and have not started my second tube as of yet. I’ve been using Revitalash since July and the results are amazing. I had very short, straight lashes that required a curler and tons of mascara just to look like I had lashes at all. The Revitalash not only made them much longer, but made them curl! Even without mascara my lashes look nice-with it, they look like the extensions I used to wear. I also use it on my thinning eyebrows and for the first time in years, I’ve had to pluck them. I love being able to skip eye makeup on days off without looking totally washed out. Elina L. loreal double extend is my fave mascara!!!...ive tried sooo many others and nothing compares to the loreal...i have ordered a mascara off The Shopping Channel in Canada the other day that has a stainless steel wand,no brush...the wand has groves in it that captures your lashes and length volume and curl galore...no flakes and it catches every lash...the mascara is called Gold Metal mascara and it's made in south korea which are renowned for their products...pricy mascara but im so intrigued by it that i need to try...anyways,high five to another loreal double extend user☺👍👌✋

Lisa Hartung Same! Tried and liked other mascara, but never loved one as much as the Double Extend! I agree, it never flakes, never smudges on the lower lashes (ALL the others do, unless they are waterproof), but most importantly - it washes completely clean with water! Unbelievable, but true. Confession - on a RARE occasion that I don't wash off my eye makeup before bed 🙈, I wake up with my mascara intact. Nothing like it!

Dominique, I love this tutorial!! I have already purchased the Thrive Mascara online and it is on its way to me. I'm just getting out of Christmas, but I will definitely invest in the Rodan and Fields Lash Boost in the next few weeks! Well worth it. For my 64th birthday this past September, I treated myself to lash extensions and they looked just beautiful on me! I went to one refill about 3 weeks later. But oh no, way too high maintenance for me-there's no end in sight! Also, very importantly and on the advice of my esthetician, the constant gluing will make your own natural eyelashes break and become very weak. I couldn't wait for every lash extension to come off. I felt so much better when they were all off. I have good eyelashes but who doesn't always want even longer, natural looking lashes! I think extensions could be used for a special occasion but why not just have a wonderful pair of false eyelashes put on. Way less expensive, too! They now have "magnetic" false eyelashes but the reviews are not good. The lashes are not sexy and feathery looking. The founder needs to revamp it.

I've been using Latisse for a couple of years - I just do a maintenance routine now in combination with the Revitalash line using the serum on the nights I don't use the Latisse, and I use the combo of the Revitalash blue primer and the Revitalash mascara in Espresso for day and Raven for night or more glam days. This is my holy grail as I truly have invisible blonde/white stubby lashes without this cocktail/combination. I've recently started to use the Revitalash Tinted Brow gel and it seems to define my pale, almost invisible brows on the days I don't want to mess with pencil and powder to define them. BTW, I also use castor oil on my naturally curly hair/scalp and on my lashes and brows and for a natural cost effective solution, you simply cannot go wrong if for no other reason, it's a wonderful conditioning step.

I have been using Lavish Lash which is much less $$$$. I started noticing results at 2 weeks and by 8 weeks had amazing lashes. I have extremely sensitive eyes and have only had slight irritation if it gets directly in my eyes. I also use it on the bottom lashes . It has really helped my brows too. I used Latisse years ago and had lots of blurred vision and developed a red line like eyeliner. This staining did go away with time.I feel like at 3 months my eyelashes have hit the limit and no further increase in volume and thickening. I am always looking for mascara and will try Thrive. Loreal Lash Paradise was good but dries out so fast and flakes. Thank you!!

I’ve been using the Rodan + Fields LashBoost for two years, and absolutely love it! I’ve never had long, thick or dark lashes, and now I do! My lashes even curl on their own (which is amazing since I could never get my short stubby lashes to curl before.) One tube of LashBoost usually lasts me about 5-6 months. Once your lashes have come in nicely, you can go every other day with no problem! Even at first, one tube lasted me about 4 months, so it is a very good deal. This is the best lash product out there, in my opinion. Re: redness - I occasionally encounter a little bit of redness on my lash line, but it fades pretty quickly, especially once I was it off in the morning. I don’t feel irritation (itchiness or discomfort)if that makes sense. All in all, highly recommend R+F LashBoost!

I follow many make-up vloggers and watch many reviews. I'm so pleased you reviewed the Thrive mascara-I hadn't heard about this brand from anyone else. Received my mascara, black eyeliner pencil and lip gloss products today-they are great. Also, Thrive products might cost a bit more than drugstore items, but I'm happy that they provide products to women in need when I purchase an item from them.

I use Revitalash in the same price point and with the same results. I’ll never be without it. I also use Vital Protein Collagen Peptides in my tea daily. It has done wonders for my skin, hair, and nails. I’ll have to give the mascara a try! Your eyelashes look great!

I'm using Great Lakes Collagen Hydrolysate. Vital Protein is kinda pricey, if I recall correctly. Taking biotin, too. I like the RapidLash at a price of around $29-30 on Amazon, it was worth a try. I tried castor oil also. And they both helped my lashes and brows. As a MU artist, this is what I think happens with these products. Hydration and conditioning for the lashes and brow hairs - just like you treat the hair on your head. I have noticed that my hairs look and act better in general - they look healthy! I don't know if the claims of the weird ingredients actually work but maybe once the hairs are healthy they can absorb more of the the fancy stuff! I have more eyebrow hair and that's a real feat! Lashes curl up nicely where they were not recently. Downsides: Some brow hairs are baby fine and light in color, but now I actually have some to grab the colored brow gel. Lashes and brows tend to grow in areas you don't want them to. Mind you, I have other issues that might cause that. YMMV. Lashes seem longer and have a bit of new growth and I do get upper eyelid redness. I have switched to 2-3 times a week at night. Castro oil is milder. I like to just do my lash tips very lightly and let it soak in from the top down. It's messy since it's such a thick oil.

Thrive cosmetics are really good. I am a big fan of their mascara and have been using it close to a year now. BIGGEST bonus is that for each item I buy they give the same item to a woman in need.

Yes you can!! It’s all about consistency. Use Lash Boost every single night. Just make sure lash line is clean... also as with all of our products “less is more” when you use high quality ingredients you need less product to produce great results! Loreal Lash Paradise is very nice and the applicator catches the tiniest of lashes, stays on all day, least amount of flaking -- my new go to mascara!

I use the Lash Boost as well and have seen the same amazing results. I was not born with long lashes and have found this to be a great find!! I’ve found that 1 tube will last about 5-6 months even though I was told that it was only 2-3. So that’s a bonus! I also do a lash lift and tint that really makes the lashes look so much better and I have found that I don’t need to wear mascara for several weeks after the tint. I love what Rodan & Fields product has done! Thanks for your amazing videos too!! You make me feel great about getting older and still looking amazing!

I've been using Lash Boost for about 4 months and the results are amazing. I am on the same tube and I think it might last me 6 months! I only apply lashboost twice a week now just for upkeep. I also put it on my brows and it works great! The only con to Lash Boost so far is sometimes my crazy long eyelashes hit the inside lens of my eyeglasses when I blink, lol!

This may sound like a silly out there kinda question. Do you know what happens to our lashes when one stops using these Lash Enhancement items ? Do our lashes fall out , stop growing peremently , go back to how they were prior to using or worse ? Yes im so confused. lol Also i do know we shed lashes. Just wondering. Dominique, first of all you are beautiful with or without your lashes! I have been using the Rodan and Fields eyelash boost and I have been very impressed with the results. Try them with It Cosmetics Hero Mascara. All I can say is “WOW”!

Hi Dominique! You had mentioned that the lash boost can be used on eyebrows. That would be awesome and somewhat emotional for me. My brows didn't grow back fully after chemotherapy. One never knows how they would feel without eyelashes or eyebrows until they're gone. Also, thank you for featuring a vegan product. It's vital for us gals to eliminate as much toxins and parabens from our beauty routine as we can. Take care 😉!

OMG, I followed your advice and purchased the Thrive Causemetics mascara and Holy Cow, this stuff works great. I apply this mascara, and then comb my lashes with a clean mascara wand and my lashes as sooooo long, beautiful and natural (natural with mascara) looking! I also have been using Revitalash for the past year and with this mascara I don't think I would need the lash growth serum!! I really hope the word gets out to support this company because I have not found any mascara that comes close to Thrive Causemetics mascara. THANK YOU for sharing this recommendation. Thank you for Rodman Fields comments. I have been using the Lash Boost for over a year and love it! I have previously used other serums & prefer RF. Easy to use and have found that after the first few months of using (when my lashes look like I want), I can use every other night vs nightly and maintain great lashes. Also, thanks for mascara tip! Hello Dominique!! I ABSOLUTELY love watching your videos!! I have purchased and used many of your product recommendations and they have proven awesome!! This latest video on lashes, I am an Esthetician and I own my own full body waxing studio, hence I was A LOT of brows and with that, I get to see lashes on the regular. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen clients, commented on their eyelashes and have heard over and over again that they use the Rodan & Fields lash boost. I have not yet tried it myself because of the cost, but I have seen the results and wanted to give my praises to it as well. One thing I think you should absolutely try, if you have not already, is a LASH LIFT(LASH PERM) I have done it myself and was blown away!!! My eyelashes are like yours. There, but without mascara, you'd never know. I did a lash lift, which should last approx. 3 months, and I could not believe they were my own lashes!! A solution is applied to your lashes that are wrapped around a rod. It is an incredibly relaxing service and the results are stunning. My own lashes were touching my brow bone!! AND another thing that is so awesome for me, is it totally saves time getting ready because you do not need to use an eyelash curler!!! DO CHECK THIS OUT, especially after using the R&F....would love to hear if you do it!!

I have been using Grande Lash for many years. It is wonderful. My lashes went from non-exsistent to hitting my sunglasses in just a few weeks. The product is less expensive than Rodan and Fields but still is about $65 for a three month supply.

Rapid Lash also works well and is much less expensive than the Rodan & Fields, which is a multi level marketing brand. I purchased it off of Amazon and from Bed, Bath, & Beyond for about 2 years before switching to Careprost (generic Latisse) which works the same but is very cost effective because I purchase from India (alldaychemist.com). I know, kind of risky, but I've had a good experience with it so far (ordered twice). I found out about it from another YT channel - Elle is for Living. It's so fun having long lashes after a lifetime of puny ones. Yours look great Dominique!

I have also used Rapidlash. It works well, but I find, after the growth, they begin to go back to normal. I guess there needs to be a "resting" of the lashes before you begin again. Eyebrows also grew like crazy! The best price I got on Rapidlash a few months ago was $50 for two at Costco.

I use Thrive’s mascara. It has extension fibers that do not flake or fall off. This mascara is 24.00 and contains Castor bean extract which helps you own lashes to grow. I ❤️❤️❤️ your videos. I totally agree with my Lash Boost experience. I started a couple months ago after quitting the extensions. It works quickly and my friend tells me one tube lasted 4 months! Even better! I like not being addicted to the extensions. 😊 I’ll try the mascara too and let you know! Thanks for sharing!
