I’ve been using Babe Lash on my eyelashes and brows and OMG! I look like I have eye lash extensions, seriously I can’t live without it now. I’m on my 3rd tube. I’ve tried Grande and Lash MD and nada! So, like you said, try them out and find what works for you. I’ve recommended Babe Lash to several people. My lashes were so puny and now, they are so thick, full and longer and I don’t even need to curl them and one coat of mascara, wow!! You are gorgeous and you really are aging in reverse. I feel that way sometimes, I’m 48 and people think I’m 35, so that always feels great!!! Happy Hump day!

I bought Revitalash a few years ago and it definitely lengthened my lashes, but it also caused horrendous dry eyes - I researched this and found that this can be a side effect. Unfortunately I had to throw it away (and it’s not cheap 😭) and I still, to a lesser degree thankfully, have dry eyes to this day. I know it’s great for many people, but it’s just something to be aware of! I’m still on the hunt for an alternative but as I don’t know what ingredient caused the dry eyes I’d be very wary of trying another 😟

Angie the L’Oréal unlimited mascara is my new holy grail thanks to you, although I use the waterproof version. L’Oréal makes the best mascaras in my opinion. If anyone else is having the same problem I did with itchy/irritated eyelids, make sure you apply these growth serums to the base of the lash, trying not to get it on your actual eyelid skin. I had to stop using revitalash because I was itching so badly. I think it was partly user error though. Since then, I’ve been using rapid lash with great results. However I’ve been more careful about not getting too much on my skin. I may go back and try the revitalash again. I do find both gave me mild dry eye though.

Honest endorsement here. Started using Black Castor Oil about 3 months ago at night on my face and a bit extra on my brows, and by month one, I noticed a huge change. My brows not only started growing more, but got darker, to the point where I need a tiny swipe of EB pencil. It works! For less. Get good quality cold pressed.

I started Revitalash “Advanced” in January ~ and ohh has it worked!! Took a good 6-8 weeks to start seeing results, exactly like the product info states - but it DOES work. My 50 yr old sparse/ short lashes and brows were honestly a lot ‘worse’ than I thought, because once the RL started working- I’ve grown serious feather dusters! 😆 I always check a website called “BeLashed” for their latest recommendations, and they ALWAYS say that the prostaglandin analogs are the only ingredient that really works. They usually have a couple 2-3 brands that are their “best of the best”, I just happened to get the RL on sale (*it was still over $100 total) so that’s what I chose. However! That one tube has lasted me since January- and I can still hear a tiny bit of liquid inside when I shake it. So, I’d say 6+ months of use makes the price tag a little easier to justify {{and I’ve religiously used it on my lashes AND brows everyday}}. It did sting my eyes the first couple weeks, but that went away. And, although I’m fair complected and have light green eyes- I’ve seen no discoloration of my skin or irises as some have had trouble with. I highly suggest this produce to anyone considering it. I was uber skeptical - but it honestly does work! 😄

One product will work for me for a while, then I have to switch. I have been using NuLash & the thing I liked compared to Latisse, is my lashes got thicker. Latisse was starting to make me have some very long, spindly lashes. Only working on some of the lashes. Kinda fun that we even have these types of products! Noticed in the comments about dying lashes. I did lashes & brows over quarantine. Boy, does that make a huge difference!

I love Revitalash! I was so shocked when my lashes suddenly grew very long! To top it off, I found such an effective lash primer: Lancome Cils Booster XL. Previously, I had thought lash primers were just a marketing gimmick. This one definitely is not. Then I learned that a sparsely bristled spoolie is best for lengthening ; I think long lashes create a youthful look, if you're choosing between volume and length. I love Hourglass Instant Extensions mascara. Between the primer and the mascara, I have no flakes, transfer nor droopy lash tips.

Interesting! As it happens, a serum that had worked for me really well, stopped working. My first experience at lash and brow serums was RapidLash. After about 6 weeks my lashes grew about 50% longer. Not thicker, but still noticeably better. After a year, the results faded, so I decided to try NeuLash. I haven't noticed much improvement. I did notice one interesting fact: the European laboratory (Leceur, in the UK) that makes RapidLash, according to the small text on the tubes, is the same lab that makes NeuLash. Same address. So I wonder if the formulas are the same, too.

I ordered neulash last year in the Nordy sale and have noticed no change in my lashes or brows. About 10 years ago I tried Latisse, and definitely noticed a difference in my lashes, however I had a temporary pigment change to my eyes due to it, so stopped using it. Most of these "growth" products are simply conditioning your lashes so they don't fall out. If you have less fall out, your lashes appear thicker and if they are not falling out, they also have time to grow longer! So key is to condition our lashes/brows just like we do our hair. A great inexpensive product for this is castor oil. Just put castor oil in an old tube of one of your lash serums and use that instead. Saving $$$$$ is always great!

Hi Angie. Are you worried about potential side effects from the prostaglandin analogue? I read that it can cause darkening of the eyelid above and below the eye, red eyes, dry eyes and loss of orbital fat around the eye socket. It specifically mentioned that ocular surface dysfunction and chronic dry eye can take a permanent and lasting toll on your vision quality and ocular comfort. By promoting inflammation on the ocular surface, prostaglandin analogues can disrupt tear film production and expression at all layers. I'm way too nervous to try it after reading about these dangerous side effects.
@vegtbull4 жыл бұрын
Nobody talks about this. I had to quit Babelash for severe dry eye. I've had dry eye for a long time, but the product took it to a concerning level. My eye doctor was alarmed and I ended up having to take doxycicline to improve my tear film. I wasn't aware it can cause orbital fat loss, too!
@chrystar14 жыл бұрын
You're so right, no one ever really talks about this. Definitely worth doing one's research. I used Latisse for a long time with great results but started seeing some dark spots in my iris. Then switched to the grandelash serum and had really severe red eyes. Never knew about the fat loss, and I need all the face fat I can keep at my age!
@deborahparker72274 жыл бұрын
@@vegtbull Yes, there are many documented cases of orbital fat loss. It was very concerning to me when I read about all the side effects.
@deborahparker72274 жыл бұрын
@@chrystar1 yes, we all need to keep the fat around the orbital rim as we get older. It can lead to a hollow, dark appearance around the eyes. We certainly don't need that. I would rather just use mascara and not risk that happening!
@vegtbull4 жыл бұрын
Yup, after that happened to me I learned a very high percentage of glaucoma patients, who use the version of Latisse to treat glaucoma, suffer dry eye. I can't recall the exact number, but something like 80%. If you don't get the glands in your eyelids working again they will die off resulting in a permanent condition. It's pretty serious. I really enjoyed the long lashes... until I looked stoned all the time.

I have been unwilling to spend on the bigger interventions. But my daughter is getting married Nov 1 and I’d like to step it up. So would you do a sort of “crash course” 6 month improvement intervention video. For example, if you’ve got 6 months and a $1000, prioritize these things. If you have more, add these. If a year, try this... I’m assuming Botox will be first on the list, but after that.. a peel?

I did a bit of research and found that lashes have growth cycles. There is also a period of "resting" so I would imagine, if you try a product in that resting phase you may not see results because the lashes aren't growing during that period. Either way, great lashes!
@whiterobin014 жыл бұрын
That is a great point!
@AngieHotandFlashy4 жыл бұрын
That's true but you're missing the information that not all of your lashes are growing or resting at the same time... if they did all of your eyelashes would fall out simultaneously every few months. Each lash hair follicle is programmed differently so some lashes are in growth phase, some are resting, and some have fallen out which starts the growth phase all over again. So if my lashes are longer overall it's because of the serum, not that it just coincides with the growth phase.

lilajane3 Thanks for the info! I re-read my comment and realized that my shorthand for “California” could also be considered an abbreviation for Canada. I didn’t know that about Canada’s healthcare system, so really appreciate the comment. Have a great day and take care! 🇺🇸❤️🇨🇦

Hi Angie! Have you had any experience of your lashes fall off if you stop using it? I tried the rodan and fields one and it worked so well but my lashes that had grown had fallen off or broken off I guess. I don’t know if that to be expected... thank you for the video! ❤️❤️❤️

Once you stop using it the lashes will go back to their regular growth pattern. This is true for any serum. Not just R&F.

Angie, I am unsure of how to ask you a question; hopefully, this is OK. Are you still using an LED Light Therapy Mask? Curious how they work for anti-aging and hyperpigmentation. Any recommendations?

I actually still have plenty of eyebrow hair, it's just losing pigmentation! They're not even grey, they're just.... blah. It's so weird. I'll definitely give that lash serum a try, though! I've lost lash volume over the last few years and I don't really wanna start wearing falsies. :) Thanks for the info!

Hi Angie, I just love your videos! Can you do a video about how you keep your products organized, and what types of organizer you use? Thanks!

How do you use this on your brows? At night, or morning and night? Is it as simple as brushing it on, or d you have to rub it in? Thanks!

It might not be the products, but that you started using them all at once. Watch my video on how to start a skincare routine & see if it helps: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYLUgJRshsidg7M

I ordered the L’Oreal Unlimited Length & Lift Mascara online and it came from Paris?! I love the lengthening, but the only problem is when removing it, it flakes horribly and I get flecks all over, despite using take the day off cleansing balm.

Hello. I’m in California and can’t get Rivatalash. Do you have any ideas? Thanks.

You read my mind! I was just trying to remember the lash serum you used! If it's helpful, Revitalash offers a 10% discount for first time purchases and Rakuten has 5% cash back for that site right now. $88.20 before tax for the 4 month supply!

I would love a roundup of all the ones you’ve tried! I tried BabeLash and I had a lot of irritation with it. I have been using Lavish Lash, but it has stopped working.

I tried the Revitalash after your recommendation and loved it but then switched to the generic Latisse called Careprost and it’s amazing! Also less money so win win. Thank you for your constant help!

I am already being treated for dry eyes with a prescription eye drops. Does the Revitalash cause your eyes to be dry.

Prostaglandin analogues can cause eye dryness, so it might not be right for you...

Me too. I use Restasis twice or even three times per day with a warm compress

Thanks Angie! Just curious, why not use Latisse? It costs about the same, lasts just as long and has proven performance. I’ve got some killer lashes but now I’m getting FOMO. Xo.
