idk what kind of phone u have or if it’s available on other phones, but on iphones u can set a timer and instead of it ringing, it’ll “stop playing,” which means the whole device will just lock its screen (turn off the screen).

what you mentioned about doomscrolling is so accurate. I noticed that since I started doing that, my attention span in general immensely lessened and I often find myself easily bored and distracted so I've also been trying to lessen my social media usage and replace them with watching movies, series, and variety shows

Yeah, you can actually train your attention span to be longer. If you keep watching those short videos you’re attention span will get shorter, but it’s good to practice not immediately scrolling on a video or watching a full length KZbin video every so often!
