The fact that he drew Anne Marie was so sweet! Judith Barsi had only died a couple years earlier when he did this interview! I’m sure it was tough not to get emotional. He intentionally imitated all of Judith’s real movements to Anne Marie in honor of her!

There's a LOT to criticize about Don Bluth's movies, but if I had to pick an animator to sit down and have lunch with and just talk cartoons, it would probably be him. Someone like Hayao Miyazaki I would probably rather recognize from a distance.
