@txzz46887 жыл бұрын
Mister Love heard him say "the lower the snare the harder I can hit it"
@remybienko10267 жыл бұрын
he actually told in his Q&A (www.thetrapset.net/bns-damon-che-answers-listeners-questions/) that he had to set the snare that low so that he can execute his special "wallop rimshot". With a higher snare, he was likely to miss the spot and injure himself. He also noted that he has long arms, so there is that.

Don Cab honestly feels like a battle of egos between Ian and Damon which I think ultimately made them challenge each other more so perhaps that’s where Ian got the name. I think you have to really credit Ian for the initial Battles sound, but admittedly the more members they lost the worse they got. The early Battles is great though, just an entirely different thing. I think the eps are great along with Mirrored and Gloss Drop. It was kinda downhill from there.

Very. Imagine going over hundreds of measures containing patterns which make a coherent song, then remembering those while keeping fantastic timing for what seems like perpetuity after the first hour. It’s not like average rock in the sense that the drummer pays more attention to the detail of guitarists rather than the guitarists noodling over a simple drum rhythm.
