If he had been born 10 years later he would have been a top 4 defenceman on one of the NHL expansion clubs. Successful Coach for the Rochester Americans and the Boston Bruins. Don was partly right. But Claude Lemieux was the Brad Marchand of his time, but far worse. Downright evil at times and doing stuff when the refs weren't looking. A master at drawing penalties. He would just get under your skin until you retaliated. Yes, sometimes he would turtle. Not because he was any kind of pussy, but because if he had to look bad to get a penalty, he would do it. He was all about the team. Glad he was on my team. Go Av's!
