Man.. takes me back! What great collaboration of musicians. To think Ozzy passed on George Lynch looking for a guitarist after Randy passed. Which I'm a huge fan of Jake E. Lee. A time when musicians still played instruments. There still talent out there, but the music, should say industry, lost its way. Technology has played a big part as well, in shaping where we are today. Back for the Attack is 30 years old!! Insane.

Dokken is the best band out of the 80s and in my heart of all time... I'm only 17 and still feel like I'm one of the biggest fans around. Wish I could grow up in the 80s, sucks that most young people can't appreciate good music and blast shit rappers instead of the dokkens, van halens, ratts, Zeppelins, iron maidens etc.

Being at the age of 22. Nobody around my age group knows Don Dokken, Whitesnake, or any of the 80's bands besides Metallica and Megadeth. It's depressing to know that I can list off 20 bands from the 80's early 90's and most of my friends cant list at least 10. It's also a shame that this kick ass album didn't get enough recognition of Don's amazing music work to land him in the hall of fame already.

Just seen dokken in bay city and he was absolutely awesome! We so appreciate his commitment to his fans. At 70 years old and the health issues he’s had none of us would be doing it. Thank you don!

Noor Bjs, Makes you wonder how much both of these guitar players were influenced by Lynch, because both of their solos sound like it could be George, especially a couple things the last guy did...

Dafyd Maddz, definitely good players. I’m just saying the solos sound like they’re trying to sound like Lynch at the tome, that’s all. I know Chris Moore, Lynch’s drummer in two of his bands, mainly the one with singer Corey Glover in it, and I’m amazed with George’s work ethic, and how many bands he has now. And now he’s got yet another band with a new singer I’ve never heard of! Sounds great! Have you seen the new video?

Dafyd Maddz, love KXM the most, as I’ve been a big fan of King’s X since 1988... 🙌🏼

Up from the Ashes is just an IMMENSE album. Stands up well against anything Dokken as a band ever released. Should have been released as a Dokken album and not as a Don Dokken solo

'Crash n' Burn' would've gotten far more attention than this as a single.

The two best songs on the album didn't get a video. Missed opportunity.

As a big fan of George Lynch and Dokken (the band)... this is how Dokken should have sounded live; 2 guitarist's that kick @ss!! Don Dokken is an awesome guitar player yet for some reason (hm???) he let George handle it all. Never worked live!! ~ These guys live (in this video) were the bomb!! BRAVO!!
