As a mexican I feel proud that people like you that are passionate for tequila get to know more about it. Nowadays we live in a place full of hatred that people tend to minimalize products or things from Mexican culture so, thanks for sharing your love for tequila.

Greetings, Sir. Don Julio Blanco was the first thing I picked up. In the past, I've indulged in a few tequila shots for fun. Don Julio is a one-of-a-kind character. Something lovely, delectable, and one-of-a-kind. Thank you for making this video available.

Don Julio beats any other affordable tequilas by miles in my opinion. It truly changes a classic margarita from good to great in my opinion.
@justamason6869 Жыл бұрын
Don julio is crap. It's watered down beyond agave recognition..tastes watered down...legs and tears watered down as well. His grandson "Lalo" makes an awesome tequila... they are still beginner tequilas Not just my opinion, but tequila matchmakers and most serious tequila drinkers as well.
@zaneyates98 Жыл бұрын
@@justamason6869 I think it tastes unlike a lot of others, but I always assumed that was due to the regional difference. Regardless, I absolutely love it.

Great video, except... the highlands is NOT where the volcano is, that's the lowlands. The highlands special touch of flavor comes from the richness of cooper and iron, a special and unique cut of the agave, the pressure, that's the specialty's "secret". I work in Don Julio. Cheers from Jalisco.

I just tried Don Julio for the first time this past weekend. I love the taste of tequila and have never been a salt and lime/lemon kind of guy. But I do normally shoot it. My first shot I did just that. Then I noticed I truly enjoyed this new to me tequila. I had to order a second one to slowly enjoy the next. I now have a bottle of Blanco on my shelf. My moto is to ne er ruin a good scotch or whiskey with coke,the same goes for this fine tequila!

Lol. This guy is funny. Very bright, metallic a hint of black pepper. Only Americans do that level of admiration and in depth description of taste that is probably not even there. Just like that American dude eating sushi in Japan saying that the way the Japanese chef was using his hands to fix the sushi was methodical. Lol, as if his manner of how he fixed it somehow gives it a more delicious taste. Salesmanship at its finest.

I have always found it to be amusing how certain types of alcohol brings out the pretentious snobbery in some people. Wine easily tops this list of snobs trying to convince themselves that the rancid taste of alcohol is actually delicious. Tequila, whiskey, brandy and beer to a lesser extent have their snobs. Pretending to have some sort of insight into the color, smell and non-existent flavors are quite funny. I am really not sure why alcohol bring that out in certain people, but it does and this guy is prime example.
@aydnedits6 жыл бұрын
just becasuse you dont like the taste doesnt mean others dont. youre a clear example of someone who doesnt know the process of making these different drinks, or the rich history and culture behind them. these videos are made for other people who share his interest. i realize youre free to say whatever you want on whatever video you want, but why waste your time writing that? you could have just clicked on a different video that actually interests you instead of writing a douchey and ignorant comment. although im not totally disagreeing with you, because some people do in fact act like fuck heads because they drink certain things. like craft beer. in my town there are 3 craft breweries, in a row, on the same street. i hate the fuckin beer, and if i show up at 11pm on a friday night, its a bunch of 25-30 year olds wearing fuckin scarfs in july sort of deal. in my head im calling them all fags but thats where it stays. in my head. i drag my friends to a normal ass bar and drink my coors light. the end
@afterburner28696 жыл бұрын
Aydn Lunden My main point is to gain a better understanding of the correlation between drinking certain types of alcohol and being pompous and arrogant. Wine drinkers top that list. Craft beer drinkers are notorious too. I just want to have a better understanding of that psyche. It also seems to me that a great many of them are just pretending to enjoy alcohol just to fit in or be part of a click. Let’s be honest here, alcohol tastes like shit.
@aydnedits6 жыл бұрын
i still think there are far more people who actually do enjoy it than the people who pretend.
@williammcguire1306 жыл бұрын
Afterburner One acquires a taste for alcohol as one does for coffee. Just because you haven't acquired the taste doesn't mean there is nothing to be tasted there
@afterburner28696 жыл бұрын
William McGuire I suppose you could be correct to a certain extent, however I think a stronger likelihood for the appeal of alcohol is not the taste but rather the effect it has on people. People go to great lengths to change the taste of alcohol so they can get it down their throats more easily. Actually the main point of my post is the curious correlation between consuming certain types of alcohol and protections snobbery, especially by wine drinkers. Any thoughts on that anomaly?
