For whiskeys I'd recommend Four Roses Small Batch or Makers Mark. Those have been my favorite. My favorite tequila has definitely been Fortaleza. Maybe Alex has a different recommendation. -Adan

Anything Fortaleza is sure to be great. We’ve had the still strength and the reposado and have enjoyed ‘em both! Tapatio tequila blanco would be great for mixing and for shots but I’ve enjoyed sipping it as well (the reposado and añejo I’ve heard are good too). If you can’t find either of these, you can’t go wrong with patron. It’s overpriced but still a good tequila. It’s greater than Don Julio -Alex

If you got a woman/women over your place or you're at the club, Casamigos is a hit. They love it for whatever reason and that's why most guys would buy this. But as far as an actual liquor connoisseur, this is alright at best. Definitely not worth the $50 you pay for it in most areas. I'm a whiskey guy through and through, but Don Julio anejo is my go to. As far as clear tequilas, Avion is great. No burn, no problems.

I can see why some people would like this bottle. It's really easy to drink, but it doesn't give that traditional tequila experience. Def will have to try the bottles you listed though.

Clooney sold the brand to Diageo back in 2017 for 700 million,and for the price you can get way better additive free tequilas.

It tastes and smells of artificially flavored sweet vanilla cake batter with medicinal alcohol. There's almost no cooked agave. Tequila for people who don't really want to drink tequila.
