Out of curiosity, I went back and checked the play by play to see if I could find the batter in question. Im almost positive he was talking about McKinney's AB after LeMahieu's 2 run double. So basically he was complaining the Yankees only scored 2 runs that inning and didn't bunt at a nonsensical time.

I’m the rare Jets and Yankee fan too. That said, I totally disagree. The Jets are poorly owned, have a poor GM and a bad game day coach. The Majority of the Jets fan base are “in JD we Trust”! Thats an embarrassing fan base. Fans who think a guy who was brought here to fix the QB problem and OL problem is some type of reincarnation of Jesus!!! The Yankee fan sits here and realizes there is no salary cap and we are one of maybe 5 teams that can spend. There’s a team in First place that Judge makes more than basically the entire team. The 2nd place team in the Orioles have no superstar. The way the yankees lose and the manager almost trying not to win in order to prove he’s the smartest guy in the room is aggravating. With their payroll they should be leading the division by 10 games right now. Instead, they field the team with players who decide to swing before the pitch is even thrown. They keep a guy like Donaldson who everyone in the world knows he’s not the future. The shove this short stop down our throats like he’s Jeter and it makes no difference if their 10 games back….he’ll still keep playing and at times Boone actually leads him off. A guy batting UNDER .200 leads off!!!! I’m sorry…but when the most likable Yankee is IKF then there is a reason for this fan base to be frustrated.

The caller overall (with the bunting especially) is correct. One thing I am tired about the Yankees is their lack of small ball. In extra innings we need small ball plays, especially when we stink at hitting on a regular basis. We could have swept the Rangers................ Real baseball fans understand that there is a science to the game where you do certain things, like bunt, in order to move the runners or score a run. It isn't just about this game, where the Yankees won, but about HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME which leads to playing the right way in order to maximize a team's potential to win consistently.
