Interesting how subdued this seems compared to some of their other material - still quite beautiful!

Jason (friend of the DM3 guys and owner of the label that released their records) kind of confirmed that the 12" lyrics were written somewhat as a joke. HeartAttack Zine did one of their record review blurbs on this 7" and basically made fun of the lyrics. I'd have to look at the review again but made fun of the fact that the song is about birds, trees and whatnot so my theory is they saw that review and went even further with what they figured were over the top lyrics.
