cool interview. I was at MSG for the Muraco vs Hogan match the month before the steel cage, from what I remember Fuji interfered and Hulk got counted out or there was a DQ, Muraco was monster back then

Me too. I was also there in April and May 1985 at MSG to see Muraco vs Hogan. Muraco is right. MSG wasn't sold out in April and May 1985 after Wrestlemania but I remember it being a good turnout. I remember in May they still had equipment hanging from the ceiling from Ringling Brothers Circus.

I was at the 3 match series at MSG featuring Muraco vs Hogan. Yes, attendance was down a little bit. It was hard to follow up Wrestlemania. I think another problem was market oversaturation. In addition to MSG, Vince started running monthly at Nassau Coliseum and regularly at The Meadowlands. Plus, PWUSA was promoting The Meadowlands with loaded lineups off of WPIX.

I love Don, but you can’t muti task and listen to him, you have to literally give him your undivided attention and tune in heavily.
