I have a friend who is trained in Royal style ballet and she explained that there's a huge emphasis on being humble and gracious in your performance. It's less, "Spend this moment in awe of me," and more, "Let's enjoy this moment together."

Helei Wang they call it “Amour” (Амур) in Russia as well but still has the classical Cupid costume... Also, the Russian (original) choreography in my opinion is better.

O’Sullivan is a fantastic dancer but I wish she would dance the original choreography without all these added jumps and athleticism where the character of the Cupid is completely lost. Also the new rearrangement of the music does no favore to the original score. The original ABA form clearly distinguished between the structural parts so when the B part came, there was clearly more excitement in the music. But the new arrangement is too busy from the beginning making the whole thing rather monotonous.

I am sorry you stopped dancing. At least you have a realistic view of your talent - not everyone is as clear-sighted. But, that need not stop you dancing ,- perhaps you can start some form of dance again.
