So many entertainer back then had real love affair with each other. Includeng these people plus Dean's,Sammy Davis Jr, and all those we no longer have around except on KZbin. All you have to do to see true loving friendship is to watch the Dean Martin Roast.

Guys who knew what it was to go through REAL FEAR... and appreciate life after surviving it... unlike many of their buddies. Contrast that with the default generational snowflake butthurt generation running 'entertainment' these days.

OMG... Franks story at 4:55-5:545 about meeting Don in the restaurant in NYC is one of the funniest things ive EVER heard... Hilarious!!!

Some of the people Frank was eating with in the restaurant according to Don in a another interview was his normal buddies Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr to name 2 of them who Wittness it.

I've never heard of his name before. Dean Martins' "Thats Amore" led me here. As a young black man myself, videos of Don Rickles are helping me rethink/ reassess my perception of race. He is the most humourous and entertaining man I have ever seen. All the men had class and style (!.e. why I love oldies songs), and their ability to laugh at almost anything is so pleasing.
@mikewilliams79855 жыл бұрын
True comedy knows no boundaries, not race, sex, religion. Guys like Rickles who could think on their feet and riff off other people, truly a talent. Hope you've watched more of these guys since.

Rip Ed. You are the cohost that worked with Johnny. For the time (which also coincides with my time) You guys were the Tonight Show. Thank you for all of the great moments that came into my life stream as it flowed by. Whole lot of stuff moving through the mind as we wend our physical way through life! Kinda interesting if you back up and think about it!

Rickles is so good. That bit about him asking Sinatra to come say hi at the table and he snubs him, i think he is one of few that could pull that off. What a great sense of humor! RIP these two legends.

Back when humor as FUNNY! Rickles' "insult" humor was from love and everyone knew it. We have become so cynical that what passes for "humor" is just mean.

Ron Concepcion. Thank you my friend. I love working on projects from this era. I have a lot morr on the way. I'm making a 1960"s & 1970's playlist as soon as I get the rest of my Tim Comway & Bob Newhart finished and uploaded.
@QuickFoxRed6 жыл бұрын
Any future possibility you can work on anything related to the Dean Martin Variety Show? Those had some amazing skits and segments as well.
@mateowannacomedyremasterz66056 жыл бұрын
I'm currently working on a lot of sketch comedy from that era with a concentration on Tim Conway, Bob Newhart, & Dean Martin. Here is the playlist I'm adding comedy from this era - goo.gl/WJZ2kD I plan to focus more on sketch. Sketch quality overall from the 50s-2000s available online is so poor quality. With so much content flooding in from everywhere, sketches from Dean Martin, Carson, Fridays, Laugh In, are plenty more are just getting lost, & it's tragic. Thank God for Carol Burnett though & Rodney Dangerfield who's work has for the most part been preserved at high quality. So while I'm building my library, & you run out of content on my channel. I really recommend their official channels for really good quality content.
