Ding Dong Dead is a first-person survival horror game where your choices matter as you navigate a night of horror and debauchery while trying to survive the curse of the 'Ding Dong Ditcher Ripper', a recently escaped serial killer from the nearby state asylum. You'll have the freedom to shape your own destiny with multiple paths and play styles available.
You can opt to protect your friends and survive the night or take a completely different route, potentially becoming even more feared than the Ditcher Ripper himself - yes, you can even choose to murder NPCs within the game. Whether you aim to be the final savior or your own slasher legend, Ding Dong Dead promises a unique and truly terrifying experience.

I think you got the bad ending as that doctor gave you those pills and you began to hallucinate. He did say he has nothing to do now. So I think he was trying to turn you in to a new killer.

Considering the psychiatrist in Halloween was played by Donald Pleasence and the doctor in this game is Dr. Pleasant, my guess is that was very much intentional ^^ (the whole game felt like a parody/homage of the film). Despite some of the writing which seemed to have been done by 13-year olds, and some rhythm issues (thanks for the editing, Chris) this was surprisingly involved and much better than I thought it would be, tbh !

You're right in that it dragged a little bit, but I think in a lot of cases, it wasn't so bad because of the game's sense of humor - no matter how gross it could get at times lmao (that poor cat). The little stat system was cute and fun! And there was a nice little nod to the slasher genre in this, like the jumpscare of the killer never dying. Glad you played this.

I think the assessment is spot-on. The humour was fantastic, and there were some great (and appropriate) jumpscares. However, the pacing leaves one, well, pacing half the time. There should've been more things to do to pass the time that were purely optional so those long pauses between events could be cut out. Still, it was a fun game overall, and I would be interested to see what they'd do for a sequel.

Totally hilarious game! I love the subtle humor: Donald Pleasence played Loomis in Halloween, Dr. Pleasent does look a lot like him. The pineapple pizza choice improves your sexiness...I wonder what the other toppings improve? Fish is said to be "brain food", What does pepperoni do? As always CJU provides a fun experience.

its usually considered a bad idea for a babysitter to pour gasoline in the living room and set it on fire...that was a fun game! alot more fun then the graphics would have you believe but the story needs far more polishing like how did he get in there with everything locked down and maybe your friends who you sent to the closets could help you fight the michael myers wannabe. loved it anyway! thanks Chris!
