The 70s tv horror movie "Gargoyles" that had the huge demonic looking gargoyle walk out of the dark and underneath the fluorescent lights of a gas station awning seemed like such a violation. It made it seemed like anything could happen at a lone gas station or roadside store. I get the creeps if I ever have to stop at one at night.

I work overnight making donuts. Games like this hit home because I experience strange things every night. Our store is haunted and there are times where I literally look at the surveillance cameras wondering if they see what just happened. If not ghosts, the store is located just off the highway, people just walk and drive up to the location even though we are very out way of the rest areas.

Try working a resort built over an old graveyard. There were two well known "ghosts" said to haunt the place. An old woman and mischevious little boy. The staff areas required key cards to access and late afternoon to overnight shifts would often say they'd hear a door open then catch a glimps of a child run pass an open door. Then hear a giggle far down the hall.

Normally, typos would be a bad thing, but considering the other humour found in the game, they ended up being a welcome addition. Also, with the killer on the roof... I mean, loose... and the protagonist driving away in a dead cop's car, I kind of hope we get a sequel. After all, ion the US, at least, if you're not a cop and are caught driving a police car (especially when the cop it was assigned to is quite dead), it's usually a very bad ending for the driver. Perhaps that was the intention of the crazed killer all along.
