‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣ THIS EPISODE ‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣
We cover a lot of ground in this episode! We last left you in the Tetons trying to recreate a photo that we took on our way to Alaska in 2018! Be sure to go back and check out how much the girls have grown in 4 years if you missed it: • THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENE...
As we mentioned in last episode, the last 2 days were maintenance days to stock up on groceries, get propane, and get all of our laundry done on our way through Wyoming. We left the Jackson area and headed off toward one of our “road traditions”, the ranch. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to share all of our experiences at the ranch with you guys here on KZbin as some google creepers were not repsonsible with the information they had seen on our channel and tried to contact our friends asking to stay on the ranch like we do. Some even showed up on the ranch! 😳
We have made it very clear in past videos, but we need to restate it here: the places and people that we visit on the road are personal friends or family members and their homes are private properties. Please do not try to find them or contact them uninvited. Our purpose for sharing our experiences like helping out on the ranch is to motiviate and inspire you to do the same in your community or with your family or friends around the country. We hope that this comminuty will use common sense and be repsonsible with the information we share in our videos.
After a wonderful time on the ranch, we finally made it to Colorado for the very first time ever in the RV! Corey, of course, had to get the truck and rig washed, and we found an amazing truck wash in Montrose. It was the biggest one we have ever seen! This obviously meant that rain was coming!😂 We headed to our friends’ house in Ouray, Colorado, and within a couple hours, we had rented a Jeep, met up with some other friends, and headed up the Million Dollar Highway for some night time jeeping! What an unexepected adventure!
Stay tuned for the next episode as we continue to share our adventures jeeping in Ouray, Colorado! Be sure to like and subscribe and click on the bell icon for notifications when we release new videos!

Ouray is one of our favorite places! Been through there many times returning home to where we lived in New Mexico. There are SOOO many places to visit and film in the San Juan Mountains! You could spend a lifetime there and never see it all. Drive safe and drink it in. It is so beautiful up there. Y'all should visit Lizard Head Pass. There are many campgrounds up there. Believe it or not, there was a narrow - gauge railroad that ran out of Ridgway past Telluride and over Lizard Head Pass through Rico and Dolores called the Rio Grande Southern. You can still see the old railroad grades.

When I was 12 yrs old I took a Greyhound bus from Lima, OH out to Pueblo, CO to spend time with relatives. During that stay, we went camping for 4 days and I got the chance to drink from a mountain spring, see some actually closed mines in the wild, and experience nature at its best. That was back in the early 1960s and ever since I so wanted to go back and visit Colorado without having a limited time window. Maybe next year... As far as the "Man-Made structures" are concerned that overlooks Grizzley Falls is super-strong. I watched one guy build a bridge using 18 inch I-beam's that could support more than 50 tons. The ones you were standing on at that overlook were 24 inch I-beams and could easily support twice that. It still boggles my mind that anyone watching your channel could think that just because you went somewhere to visit your friends in Colorado, it would give them permission to just show up and expect the same welcome you do with friends or family. That in itself is creepy. Regardless, have fun and stay safe on your journeys.

OMG! In the beginning when I heard you say Colorado; I thought wouldn't it be cool if they went to Ouray? So, soon after, I thought I heard, Corey say Ouray and I went back and listened again. I was blown away when you said you were going to Ouray! Fifteen years ago my husband and I did a two week trip on a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. We did a 'Fly n Ride' to Nevada (picked up the Harley in Las Vegas), then also did Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. Our favorite place was Ouray. We only got to spend one night and I have dreamed of going back. We did the Million Dollar Highway, also. Your Jeep tour was incredible; we would have loved to have done that. I wish we would have spend several days in Ouray. I dream of going back to that beautiful place. We stayed at Box Wood Canyon Motel; we got to soak in their wooden hot tubs with the hot water coming out of the mountain. So, cool. Also, from that motel, there was a close hike to an awesome, tight canyon that had waterfalls crashing through it. I hope you got to do that hike. What a joy to go along with you guys on this one!! It brought back great memories and then added more and I got to see what we missed. What a breathtaking place.

Oh my, the precious beauty in that region! Last summer we drove through Ouray and unfortunately didn't have time to stop. That mountain pass is one of my favorite ones, in a beauty sense and technical sense. We came up from Durango via the million dollar hwy with our 38 foot coach, the last section going into Ouray, going north from the area where black bear pass trail head is, was a real hoot! We were geared down to 1st gear in those really tight switchbacks. Between the tight switchbacks and the stunning scenery, it was truly amazing and a fun ride. Going south, up hill won't be as tricky as far as not having to worry about brakes going down, but being at the road edge is still a thrill. Lilly's comment and expression was priceless! I agree with her a 100%! Thank you for another amazing video! Looking forward to part 2.

Ouray is wonderful. We had a guide drive our Jeep. Our guide was a Police officer earning money on the side. He scared the jeepers out of us on the way up Imogene Pass. It was the 1st day Imogene was opened for the season and the snow had to be plowed to open. There was 18' of snow on both sides of us. Awesome photos especially at the sign at the top of the pass.

We bought an 18' Coachman TT and Ram 1500 Tradesman V6 a couple of months ago. Your videos inspire my wife and I to get out and enjoy the rv life. We have crossed the US twice now with our rv. 4 days of 500 mile driving each day. Only pulled over once by police (NM). Only got stuck in mud once (TN). KOA campgrounds are good but noisy near main roads. State campground are the best if they have rv hookups. We love the cheap gas in states other than CA. We are about to go up CA coast and will stay where you stayed at Pacifica rv park but we will not park near cliff edge.

So a part of a week long bicycle tour I did in Colarado took us through Ouray over the Million Dollar highway to Red Pass and the Black Canyon. Imagine pedaling a twenty pound bicycle wearing spandex at over 11,000 feet elevation. Then try to wrap your brain around passing a motorhome downhill at 60 mph. The look on the drivers face was priceless!

Good evening FOSies!! OH my.....what a treat to have you here!! What a tremendous family you have! That would be fun to go out with Matt and Lisa too someday! Oh wow....I never really talked to you about your night jeep tour they took you on. County Rd 14 is really an awesome orientation to the area! It is one of 2 roads that we take all of our visitors on. The views are incredible as you climb above tree line. Ha...I've actually never taken it south to north in a vehicle, like you went. It is a favorite for snowshoeing; but there are a couple of more dangerous snow shoots on the northern section that you need to go when the avalanche conditions are low. Your videos are always top notch! The scenery.....videography....narration; it's all great! Safe travels!!

I wanted to say hello to all at the Florida RV Supershow and exchange stickers. But dang there was always so many people. Lol. Then you were at the Grand Design VIP rally that night. I did get a chance to talk to Nathan and Marissa and exchange stickers. I can't wait to explore the West Coast. But unfortunately it will be awhile due to my dad. He's 97 and not doing to well. So we are just staying on the East Coast this year. We are absolutely love being full-time RVers. The best decision we ever made. I just wish we had done it years ago. But our 5 boys were like no way. Lol. So we are fooling them we are spending their inheritance. Lol ☺️. Maybe we will meet up again at another Grand Design rally or somewhere else. We have a Grand Design Reflection 303rls Fifth Wheel. But thinking about trading up for one with washer and dryer hookups. That horrible little portable washer isn't cutting it. Lol. I can't stand stiff towels and laundry hung up everywhere. Lol.

This reminds me of 30 years ago when mountain biking was just becoming a thing to do, I rode most of these roads up and over the 13K mountains for fun on a n MTB. I have worked in the ski industry also working in Ski Patrol doing many nighttime events sleeping in the snow. My old Toy 4x4 along with the MTB and I used to go from Durango to Silverton to Ouray and back to Silverton and take the train back to Durango, this is a beautiful area. If you have time you should take the train from Durango and Silverton and back, very cool!

I spent today cleaning years of files off my computer and as I did, got to go through our May 2019 trip to CO (our first too). I had just been looking at shots of what was on your video just about 2 hours earlier. You made me so happy to get to see it all again. Ouray was our favorite. We went up to the falls and I couldn't stomach the overhanging metal grate walkway either, LOL! We started up the Million Dollar Hwy and right where it got gnarly for you, I told my husband I couldn't do it and we turned at that next rd on the left. You guys are beyond brave! I'm so impressed with where you went in the Jeep. I'm hoping you went to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison too. My parents were out there with their truck camper 27 years ago and Ouray and the Black Canyon were their favorites. Sorry to babble on, but I'm thrilled to get to revisit that area. We were not impressed by the unfriendly people in Telluride so I'm hoping your experience there is far better. You just can't beat Ouray- everyone was so nice. We really want to go back. Can't wait till next Sunday's video! Thanks! You made my day!

Yes! Ouray is gorgeous. A friend and I did a 10 day tent camping trip many years ago in my Jeep Cherokee. I drove it up and down Engineer Pass. We had no clue that we did it in the more difficult direction. Up on the easy side and down the hard way! White knuckled the whole way into Ouray. Lesson learned. Ask questions before off roading in the San Juans. So enjoying seeing you all having fun in a brand new state.

Hi y'all, Remembering our trip into Ouray back when we still had our Jayco Hybrid (24'). My husband was driving from the South to the North. I was taking photos non-stop and he was one with the steering wheel. . Even w/ Downshifting and electric brakes, we had to pull to the side before the approach to the town's valley to let brakes cool. People kept flying by us and we kept smelling their brakes burning. I hope you are careful. We saw an 18-wheeler flip over, he was still alright, but his load was just oranges, and they probably went all of the way down into the Canyon. It was a sight...

Loved seeing just a quick glimpse of Wyoming. My dad’s first pastorate in the US was in Worland, Thermopolis and Ten Sleep. On our move there, we drove through the Wind River Canyon at night. As my parents were from the green rolling hills of England, it was quite a contrast. The Jeeping looks amazing. Looking forward to next week too.

Hi guys glad you finally made it to my home state! And so happy you're enjoying it. Although you're quite a ways from the area I grew up in. Since you're on the Western Slope. I grew up in the foothills of Denver which is considered the Front Range Rocky Mountains.. The southern Rockies are my favorite way up past Colorado Springs. So happy you're there in the summer. Unless you want to go skiing.lol 😆 The mountain roads to go skiing are treacherous.. But what you said about Highway I out of San Francisco. . Certainly not the road you'll be taking out of there. But there's many more mountain peaks then there. Like the Front Range where I come from. You would think Highway 1 was a cakewalk. 😆 😆 I wish you were seeing more than just the Western Slope while you're there. That's just a small part of the Colorado Rockies. Although Ouray is a very pretty area. My favorite on the Western Slope is Box Canyon. My dad took me there as a teenager. He knows the Western Slope very well. (Both my Mom&Dad grew up on the Western Slope). But it's absolutely stunning. From centuries of ice buildup inside the caves the colors blue, green, purple gold + more. So many colors there gorgeous it's not a very far hike from where you park if I remember right that was a long time ago .. 😆 I hope you guys can make it over to the Front Range mountains of Colorado sometime. My dad knew all of those mountain peaks by heart. Him and his brother would break trail's on their horses. Carrying hacksaws to do that. Plus hiking all over mountains.. And then mountain biking with my brother that my dad didn't even start that till age 60.. Yeah he was in really good shape and a health nut. Probably why he lived 100 years. 😆 He loved his Rockies and wouldn't live anywhere else. Myself I'm more of an explorer. Plus I can't take 8 NOT 6 months of freezing cold and snow. 😆 Sorry I rambled on so AGAIN. 😆 I really enjoyed the video. And as always safe and happy travels😘 p.s. if you ever do make it to outside of Denver like a 30 minute drive. And you want to see a rock concert with the best sound system you'll ever hear literally in the world for an outdoor theater.. you'll have to go to Red Rocks Amphitheater. The sound is so amazing from the natural formation of the rocks.. there's an old U2 KZbin video that was filmed there you could check out. Give you a little idea of what it looks like. One more thing and then I shut up I swear. 😆 As teenagers we always went up on wk-ends and climbed all over the rocks. Like Jess I'm terrified of heights. So one of those x we climbed up to the highest peak. I did okay climbing up. But when it was time to come down I literally froze. I couldn't stand up either. So my brother and his friends had to take leg by leg arm by arm & inch me down closer to the bottom. So embarrassing. 😆

Great video , Colorado is my second favorite state just under Idaho . I'm a big 4wheel drive fan , I have a Toyota 4Runner with a roof top tent so I get out camping in the remote mostly . There are some great trails in Colorado that can take you over the divide or north to south border to border almost all dirt . I follow you guys because you go places I like and I used to have a 33 ft. Terry Taurus Bunkhouse , what a beast . The majority of people I follow are overlanders but hiking is my favorite outdoor activity which is the other reason I follow you guys , you do some fun hikes . Now you're adding off road to your repertoire , heh love it .

Took myself off the road a few years ago, I'm an oldie! So enjoying watching these RV trips, beautiful scenery, etc...not as good as being there in person but this is a neat alternative. Also, the great family atmosphere comes through in your interactions.

Gorgeous! Love to see the blue radios. Rugged radios is awesome. I run them for in car and car to car on the x3. We have the handhelds that you have for others in our group without comms. Their company’s service is above reproach!

Thanks Guys for the trip to Ouray. We have the same trip planned for the end of this summer. 5 nights in Ouray and we can't wait. You have given us an insight to our trip. You Guys did an awesome job with your video. We live in the Pacific Northwest and have been over most of your trip from California up the Oregon Coast many times and it was awesome to relive some of the places you went. Can't wait for next week!!!!

Corey and Jessie, we really enjoyed this episode as its where we live and its been wonderful to see it through your eyes! Matt and Lisa have been our friends for many years and adventures. For the Jeeping aspect of this area, Matt and Lisa are first rate trail guides and its a blessing for your family to have them guide you. Now if you ever head back to Southwest Colorado, we do both Jeeps and horses. You might check out some of our horseback adventures on our KZbin channel.

This is John Chalker from Waterbury Connecticut I loved your video today you did a wonderful job with it I feel that you did the right thing by not showing any more videos of your friends place because people were taking or trying to take advantage of it and I'm on your side about it I think you did the right thing by not showing any more videos on your friends places and where they live because so the people wouldn't come there and take advantage of it CC 🙏🙏

What a great trip! Those drop offs reminded me of a trip. I get car sick if I'm a passenger and I'm afraid of heights. We drove up a mountain in So Cal that had drop offs like that. I discovered that the fear of dying makes your motion sickness immediately disappear. 😬🤢

Your videos are so inspiring! I've been getting ready to get out there for a couple of years now, and it is finally coming this summer! As soon as the kids get out of school! I have installed a great solar system on our 40' 5th wheel and it is ready for some serious boondocking! I have been planning out a bunch of the first years worth of rough routes, and I have found that a lot of them go near or to areas y'all go. I was worried about the 3 tunnels in this video, but not now lol! Can't wait to get out there, and hope to see you on the road one day! Bret

That moonlight road is what would have terrified me, not the platform over the falls! LOL! And, yes, I prefer a laundromat over small load over small load all day. A note on the google thing...your experience, and the fact you shared it, came just in time for us to start our channel last year and made me a lot more careful about where we were filming, especially near where we actually live. Thank you for being so transparent.

I love all of the videos and look forward to them! I know what you mean about creepers. I had to ask one guy to leave our campsite because he just came in uninvited while we were relaxing by the fire and he talked for 30 minutes straight. His wife and kids kept looking over and shaking their heads because they knew he was overly friendly. Some people just don;t know the line... Happy and safe travels!

Funny you mention the camera. I owned a 2017 Camaro SS and we've had 2014, 2017, and 2018 Rams and I've said all along, the Chrysler electronics work so much better than the GM. I loved my Camaro's looks and performance but hated the creature features.

Wind River! Beautiful gorge. I’m willing to bet you don’t know about the military vehicle museum in Dubois, WY. Instead of heading north from Shoshone through the gorge head west and there is a private collection of military vehicles that are open to the public. No joke, this is Smithsonian level museum and there are items there that national museums have bid on and lost. Next time you are in WY the National Museum of Military Vehicles in Dubois needs to be on the list. It is an amazing place and you could spend a day or two there. I have friends in Worland and Cody. Love some WY!

I've never driven The Million Dollar Highway, but I have driven Going To The Sun Road in Glacier National Park, and while they are similar in many ways, TMDH is tame in comparison to GTTS. Length width, and height restrictions for GTTS prohibit anything towable. You ought to check it out some day, tho it may frighten Jess and Lily. Scared the heck out of me, I'll never drive it eastbound again, tho might attempt it westbound, as at least then one is driving on the mountain side of the road, rather than the cliff side. Lots of KZbin videos about driving GTTS...

The one problem I have with laundromats in RV parks is that the laundromats never have super sized washers and dryers to do my king size comforters. I understand that some RV parks such as Thousand Trails and KOA have the super sized washers and dryers but I don't stay at these parks. The only places I've found these types of W/D is in laundromats outside of RV parks. Of course I don't have to wash my comforters very often so I do usually use the W/D in RV parks to do most of my laundry unless the W/D are not well cared for.
