Thank you for posting the video! I have a 2019 sprinter that was formerly an Amazon van and the 3 things you mentioned are what has been annoying me. I was concerned about losing the backup camera but it sounds like an easy fix.

I have a 2019 Amazon Van as well. I need to have this done ASAP. I’m in the Atlanta area. I picked up my van super clean with only 5000 miles. New videos coming soon on my channel… but man I have locked myself out of my van like 5 times.. and can’t go over 75 MPH!! My local service center said they couldn’t remove this and I had to go to Amazon. Smh

Congrats on the van, the programing is really annoying, it is a drive, but the folks at baker Mercedes in summerville SC can get it done for you, they are really nice and there are lots of vans to look at while you wait. Good luck

How did that work out for you? I have a 2019 promaster 2500 with the Amazon limiter set at 70 which is the worst at times. I’ve contacted all of the ram dealerships in the DC area and no one can remove it!

@newbeard350 it worked out well in my case, between the doors autolocking and the speed limiter it was very frustrating, when i bought the van as they were just getting released to the public there was no programming it took almost a year for mercedes to create the code clean the amazon presets. Hopefully that the case with the promaster and they make that coding available. The dealers are really difficult and i feel fortunate i found the one in SC, because everyone in VA including the mercedes dealer that sold me the van would not help

Which module did they code to rectify the auto locking?

It is the PSM module, that is the upfitter module that has all the amazon stuff on it. There are two different series of updates, one that takes away the instant auto lock, fixes the radio controls, but also disables the power supply to the amazon always on camera, that can be fixed quickly by adding switched 12v power to the red wire in the camera harness, the other programming gets rid of the 75mph speed governor which is a separate download the dealer has to request.
