Alhamdulillah depression took me closer to Allah. I was at a very bad state with a hedonistic view of life which led me to depression. Now that view has flipped and I do everything for Allah instead of pleasure. Do things with the intention that it will benefit you in worshipping Allah. This type of intention has helped me wonders.
