A group of lurers gave me the whole speal just like this, with a video and everything. They were using a fight arena lure, a comment on the video warned me about everything...so I brought about 90m and let them "lure" me. They eventually say to drop my items and walk through a door to trade them, instead I didn't drop my items and would trade them and they'd explain I was doing it wrong, I acted very confused and would just reply "so do I get 30m now?" This went on for at least 3 hours while I was killing zulrah on my alt. I would also have them retype the instructions over and over to give me time to kill zulrah without saying anything to them...good times

The only scam, if you can even really call it that, that happened to me was getting 200k for free. Was told to only bring my Abyss whip with me since they were 2.4mil at the time. I was traded 5 noted dragon battle axes and lost my whip while item protect was on. I just laughed and went and grabbed another whip from my bank since I farmed those at the time for money.

Someone once tried the same lure on me where one person would say its a bad lure and easy to antiscam, and told to watch a video (think it was called one way ladder or something like that), and on the video it explains that you drop your stuff and get the reward money, then go up and down the ladder (in entrana) and loot your stuff. Well the guy luring me told me to bring 40m, so I'd get 20m from the first round and 60m from the second round. I imp boxed my items, he traded me 20m worth of stuff and an iron dart he fletched there, so I got kicked out of entrana (I don't know how he didn't get kicked out), but I got free 20m from it. Moral of the story - ALWAYS CARRY IMP BOXES :)

this one is easy to anti scam though, while getting lured, on another account on another world go to the spot with a pickaxe, once you're traded the money log on with your other account (that they know nothing about) to the scam world and mine the rocks with the other account. Hmm. It seems as though you could potentially bring a bird snare/pickaxe with you and when they try to trade you drop it, trade them to show inventory, then pick it up again. Then take the phat lewt they offer and run off. Though to be fair I don't remember how long it takes for stuff to appear for others so it may not even be possible, it's just a thought. I did something like that a few years back, some people tried to lure me in clan wars and I had to keep showing them my stuff, right before we went in I traded it all to an alt I logged in on right under him so he wouldn't notice and all they got from me was a woodcutting cape. They were maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Two hours wasted hahahaha

I got lured literally yesterday by 1 friendly person who chatted me and gave me 5m and ask me to outsmart the scammer. Little did i know both are actually people who are trying to lure me by doing a double setup, friend n foe. Sadly, i lost 2b. But its christmas season so i told myself, its charity. My nephew got scammed because he didn't know about the nose peg and 60slayer you need to kill spectres. Someone just dropped a dragon platelegs between the kourend dungeon spectres and told him to go get it for free. He died because thats a multi area and spectres blast through your prayer like butter. The other guy just put on the peg and picked up his gear.

Another lure/Scam, is at the duel arena. He pretends to go through two-rounds of this "game" and he has another account PM'ing of how to "anti-scam", they ask you to drop items and then he will trade you over 28 Toy mice and tells you to trade them back, he doesn't accept the trade back, which can not be dropped in duel arena and by the time you run to bank and back. Items are gone.

Torvesta, today I was scammed for full Bandos and D claws. It saddens me to say it's not the first time ive been scammed. But it sure will be the last as I will never play the game again.
