“Don’t Be Late!” | The Most Viewed Sand Animation by Kseniya Simonova | Live in Denmark

This sand story is one of the one which becshe viral on internet. I don’t know why it happened but I guess because it’s close to each of us. I performed it at America’s Got Talent: Chsnpions and it received a Golden Buzzer there.
I devoted it to my beloved granny. When I was 13, my grandmother, the person who I think loved me the most, passed away.
Cancer. Since then I felt a big emptiness in my life. I loved drawing and dreaming the happy times are back. When I started charity and volunteering, I knew it’s in much extend , a devotion to my granny.
You don’t see it, but I’m pretty emotional when creating my sand stories.
I’m totally in it, I put my heart in sand.
I deeply feel all these stories. I am living the life of my heroes.
I’m always afraid to cry when I perform. If a tear falls down on the glass surface, it will spoil the performance. The sand will stuck. That’s why I cry alone when no one sees me.
This is one of many performances of “Don’t be Late”, recorded in Denmark, city Nyborg. I remember how emotional people went when I peer. And it’s good because it means we are not lost, we are not do bad. We still feel and sympathy. We are Human.

*Kia ora (hello) Kseniya, that is the most amazing tribute to your granny. She would be smiling and give you the biggest hug, if she was still alive. She would also be so danged PROUD of you & what you have achieved, as would all your family. 🙂 Not showing emotion whilst performing your brilliant art... I totally get it re the sand not flowing. But at the end of each performance... dang it, just let it go... and allow them tears to flow... cos we all know that each story you tell us, is personal in some sort of way to you or to someone that you know or is part of the history being told to remind people of what has happened in the past.
