I share my space with another person. If I know my clients and I are going to be swearing and talking crap, I will go out of my way to schedule them on days when my salon partner is not there. We don’t offend anyone this way. Maintaining a level of professionalism is not difficult! We dress for work in nice clothes, bathe daily, act like you want to be there!

My ex boss would talk bad about her employees.. to her clients in the salon. So unprofessional. Imagine you’re looking forward to your nail appointment to just wind down and relax and your nail tech is venting about her employees LOL I had to leave that toxic environment.

Ive seen some of those snarky nail tech videos that are lowkey sh*t-talking their clientele....it's just alienating to your clients that didnt know better

Be polite but not a verbal whipping post. I refuse to be rude to the guest at the restaurant where I work, not because I'm paid to do so, but because it's the right thing to do. But if a guest is being rude or biligerant, I have the legal right to refuse them service as long as I provide them with someone willing to help them. Which is usually management.

Only certain clients get a more relaxed version of me, mast majority get a very professional version😅. I try to be some what relaxed on social cause I want people to know who I am but still I won’t post just anything, certain things are just not necessary to share

It is the same with the music attached to videos, reels, whatever, that has cursing and such. I curse in my personal life, but I don't want to hear it when watching tutorials

Ughhhhh yes. Soooo agree. I'm confused as to why I need to listen to raunchyyyyyyy, create a mental picture I don't need, kinda of music while you do a frenchie with chrome. 😶

I mentioned this very thing to an internationally known company via their IG because of a post they had. They never responded but I assume my message was received. It was such a turnoff to see.

I so 1000% agree... I have seen some beautiful nail art being done to the most offensive music.. and it just takes so much away from the beauty of it. I understand I can hit the mute button, but when you are scrolling and videos are 15 - 30 seconds long.. I don't wanna be going on, off, on, on, off.. I think that kind of sexually explicit, heavily cursed music should be saved for your car ride, or the jam in the shower... But not in your videos... 🤨

Please please please be professional with your attire! I actually don't see it as much in Reels and Posts, but I do see it IRL. Crop tops, booty shorts...SMH we are dealing with dead skin particles and dust (allergens). You don't want that on your skin and in your clothing! At least wear an apron or a smock to protect yourself and your clothing.

People are killing me with stories about clients , and love to say I’m not talking about the one in my chair . Like I would never go to you so you can bash me

I had a client come to me twice. Her 3rd appointment I had to cancel because I had covid. She never came back and refuse to talk to me. Mind you she was late to all appointments 🙄

I hate the fact that its now a trend that in order to prove a point you have to be cursing 🙄 and i definitly hate reals with nasty music it just does not capture my attention at all!
