Yes, judging by your open and honest review, Jollibees does seem a little hyped up with the actual food not doing justice to all the pics on the touchscreen. We tried Jollibee for the first time in Liverpool a fortnight ago. We had a long wait too and was told it was because we had ordered a hot dog. Agreed about the chicken too, flavourless! We won’t be returning.

This was my experience at the same branch of Jollibee's: the chicken was totally tasteless. So flavourless that I wondered if I was coming down with Covid or something. I left a comment to this effect on Gary's video too. Maybe he just got lucky. It's a 2:1 experience now.

I tried my local Jollibee in Reading and it was very poor. So was the service. Never again. I like Gary but his taste is often very wrong - he usually slates fast food places, including some I quite like, so I have no idea why he liked Jollibee. I'd choose Popeye and KFC over Jollibee every day of the week.

Filippino spaghetti contains BANANA KETCHUP, which is very sweet - if you make it and don't have that ingredient they actually recommend brown sugar instead - and quite a lot of it! It isn't my thing! Spaghetti needs to be savoury! Aside from popcorn, I can't do the salty and sweet combination!

Something else to note - it isn't a bolognese - that is a specific style of sauce. The Filippino one is pretty much tomato, banana ketchup, a hint of onion and hot dogs! None of the Italian nuances we know and enjoy in real bolognese style sauces and ragus. xx

Bro, that looks terrible for £12 😮 I work right by the one in Liverpool City centre and have never been in. Far too expensive. There's also a Popeyes very close, and again, just no. I'd rather spend £12 on a massive mixed kebab that comes with chips, sauces and the usual stuff.

I've only been eating Jollibee in the Philippines and this is where it gets its justice. A jollibee without a Halo Halo and a Champ burger is a suicide. Also the way that you get it late, which means that it is not hot is terrrible. Yeah but UK food is extremely terrible in general so no surprises there. But dude, you suppose to have the spicy chicken, and use it with a gravy. A gravy is made for meat and not for french fries. And I think that you should have tried that "tasteless" chicken again. Maybe with the gravy. But I do appreciate your rating. You said that almost everything tasted good and then you insulted it in the end. Better luck next time.

I find this staggering you must be the only vloggers in the UK to find jollibee bad. It's definitely the best in the UK if done properly. Your in Leeds maybe they are sloppy there, don't know. The staff in London are superb and would have been horrified by your review. If it's cold and dry why didn't you send it back and complain?? Maybe a rookie messed up your order? Jollibee is definitely better than KFC or Popeye's by miles. They know how to fry chicken. You really need to try another restaurant if you can Deano.
