I was having trouble deleting the constraints for the circle @5:44, it would delete the entire sketch. If you select the constraint and right click you can select 'Delete Coincident' from the menu

@@jeffbrazill764 Make sure that your first component (the initial square washer) is set to 'not visible'. Otherwise, the sketches of the two components will be shown overlayed in a weird way.

If you are having trouble finding seeing the constraints @5:44, make sure that you "unfix" the circle portion of the sketch via the lock icon in the constraints section.

Great video, Thank you! Removing that constraint for the circle kept getting me, because for me it was the third symbol from the center. Is there is an easier way to identify which coincident constraint is selected, when there are a few coincidents on the same spot?

I believe they're always listed in the order they're created, from left to right. You can also select the constraint and it will highlight the geometry. Sometimes that isn't helpful if two or three of them are only doing a sketch point though.

I followed your steps exactly, but my constraints are not in the same order as yours. You delete the first constraint, but for me the first constraint highlights the line from the bottom left to the top right. For me, It is the second from the left. Why is this?

Why do my sketch dimensions not maintain just outside the shapes boundaries? When I resize the square in this video for example, my left constraint (the 100, 150, 200 etc), the physical location of that dimension doesn't move with the shape update. So it's sometimes inside the shape, if I go from 100 to 200. Or, it could be way off to the left and outside normal viewing area when I go from 200 back to 100. Having the hardest time finding how to make it relative to the outer edge of the object.

@5:28 why does it seem like the listed 4 constraints seem to pop up randomly when trying to select the circle? i press the outer circle and the center point. cant seem to get it to pop up every time though 🧐 Selecting the outside of the circle and then hovering over the center point seems to be the way.

I had the same problem. I simply reverted to the step before removing the constraint, remove it again and then with "right click" and selecting "Move/copy" I was able to move the circle.

Hey, I had the same issue. After a while though, I noticed that by hovering the mouse cursor over the center of the circle, the constraints would appear.

@2:14 - when trying to replicate the Equal Constraint step, getting a "Failed to solve. Please try revising dimensions or constraints." Any suggestions?

There is likely another constraint that was automatically applied. Double-check that you don't have any other constraints that would restrict it from making the sides equal in length. If you can share your file, I can take a look.

Figured it out, make sure you have the Bodies and Sketches for Square Washer 1:1 off/not visible for it messes with how things look for they are stacked on top of each other. I had turned off the component but didn't have the ones under it off. Then try to figure out which constraint is the center one for the circle, seems the order of the constraints changed when I did it different times.

This is a great series, and you do a great job with it, but if I'm being honest, this episode is a bit of a let down. didn't get to see anything new created, and sort of just rehashing what we learned earlier in the series. eagerly awaiting next episode.
