Don't Break Your Plunderlongs!

Tips for avoiding breaking your Plunderlong figure out of the box. There are reports of the neck joint breaking, and the ball joint does seem to be incredibly stiff out of the box.
As with many modern action figures, it is wise to heat them up and gently loosen any joints and parts.

Thanks for this video. I scored a pretty decent bargain for a couple of plunderlongs (swash and gills) and a plunderstrong (mango) on ebay. This video helped me with my swash , I did accidentally sand a bit too much off, but I've put a bit of tissue in the head and it seems to have worked pretty well and is only slightly loose. My plunderstrong also has loose legs so I will be giving the heat shrink tubing method a go this weekend. Thanks again.

You're welcome, and I use poster putty for head pegs that are smaller than head holes to grip effectively enough. Thank you for commenting, and the heat shrink method for the Plunderstrong legs works! I got some wire hear shrinks for cheap at Harbor Freight, and now my Strongs' hip joints are nice and stiff!
