Hopefully, at some point, someone will make a cigar cutter that has the following properties: First, "curved double-guillotine blades" made from one of the "Advanced Metals" some knife makers are using: At least D2, CPM154, etc. (And not the so-called combo blades where it says "Damascus with D2" and doesn't say what the percentages of the D2 are.) Non-guillotines/single blades can lead to tears if the cigar is dried out even a little. Second, no "backstop" as sometimes you have to prune sections off a cigar due to a tear or other damage that makes it hard/impossible to draw from. Third, matte black (or Matte black and red) finish. (I love Xixar's round cutter in black and red.) I'd pay $500+ for this lifetime, heirloom product. .

I just bought this cutter on your rec. WOW what a cutter. Hefty! Now my friends want one. They can get their own. This replaces all my cheap black plastic cutters.
