For India there is an Idea. Get a Homa done, collect the ashes, purify it and use that carbon to grow the diamond. People in the west do this for their pets or for loved ones. Do not pay 1 lakh for a lab diamond. Its worthless you can get one for probably 20 thousand right now. And maybe 2 thousand in future. Might as well buy American diamond or mossonite if you dont have pockets for a natural one. (Its absolutely alright) Natural things will definitely have value. You cannot compare it with something you cooked in your oven.

A natural diamond is worth only bcoz its that's much expensive! Like iPhone is worth bcoz its that much expensive and has become a status symbol. Buying a lab brown diamond is like buying an old model iPhone of about 20k. If u reveal that that iPhone someone bought for 20k probably its won't be counted of as much value as was originally thought of.
