I almost switched to Bonafide myself, but I really liked the layout of the Titan X 12.5, so I ended up going with it. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I hope you have the same outcome. BIG Adventures knows what they are doing when it comes to fishing kayaks.

Good choice! I’m coming from a old town predator 13. Still have it and love it. Just was time for something new. I really wanted a PA 14. After all my research I just couldn’t by one. Also have a friend who loves his but is on his third hull. I ended up going with a Titan X 12.5. Took it out yesterday for the first time and wow!!! I just feels so premium. And what a barge! I’m 260 and can stand up like I’m on a dock!! Good luck! Enjoy rigging up the PWR!

Yeah i came to the same conclusion when looking to get my first fishing kayak, just too many horror stories of drives and hull issues but i was lucky to find a brand new 2024 Knarr for a great price and so far loving it

You have just made one of the best decissions you could ever make, Bonafied is an amazing kayak. I have the SS127 and want my next kayak to be the PWR129, I will be passing down my SS127 to my G-Daughter. Thank you! The quality is obvious as soon as you lay a hand on these things. Spent the day laying some vinyl on the RVR and designing the wrap for the PWR so I can print it shortly here. I'm not sure what the brand of the totes is as it seems to change every few years, even though they stay the same. I get them from Farm & Home. They come in like three sizes. Thanks for watching!

Hobie got bought by a private equity company. I don't know what you know about such things but most companies that get bought by private equity end up bankrupt. They make money running the company into the ground while borrowing against company assets. Hence the lower quality and lower customer service many have experienced lately from hobie. Native kayak on the other hand has had a CEO that has been in the kayak industry and plastics industry for decades. He has skin in the game and one would think he actually cares about the products his company produces. For this reason alone Native will be my next kayak. They own bonafide as well.

Your problem is you got the Camo colored 360. Believe it or not, the 180, non camo colors does not have the same issues. I have two 180 PAs, a 12 and 14. PA12 bought in 2021 in Dune and the PA14 bought in December in Battleship Grey and i fish alot of tournaments with them especially the 14. Both have an xi3 on my PA so i really didnt need the 360 and saved the money. I went from Bonafide to Native Titan to Hobie PA and have a completely different experience. To each his own i guess, good luck with your Bonafide!

The 2022+ models are the ones suffering the most, but in general 180 drives have less issues. The hulls not so much. I loved my pre-22 outback.

@@PenguinOutdoors Agreed however i have guys in my tournament circuit with the same cracking issues even with their early model camo 360s in the 12 & 14. Essentially, the problem kayaks for them are all 360s except the 2024 models or current color lineup. Something in the way they mix the camo colors, they need to poach some Old Town employees that know how to mix Camo molds correctly.
