My nesco 6 quart roaster that was made in the USA still works great. I bet it will outlast any slow cooker bought today. The heating elements were far better back in the day. They were built to last a very long time. I love mine.

Been married for 17 years and just discovered a large slow cooker my husband got back in the late 70s during his divorce. He was married right after college for only a year, wife cheated and left him for another man. Anyway, he got the slow cooker. Never used it. I just started using it few weeks ago and it still works.

I will stick with my Rival slow cooker and my Rival roaster. The roaster is 12 years old and still going strong and will hold an 18 lb turkey. It is all analog, but i like it that way, one less thing to go wrong. The slow cooker is also analog but is 8 years old and works great. For a pressure cooker I have one of Emeril LeGasse's models (10 quart I think, or it might be 8, will have to look).

I'm sorry. Um, my only excuse is that I'd never heard of your channel let alone this video until now. *_I've already bought two slow cookers!_* How will I ever live with myself? Well, that and the fact that I bought both of them before this video was even made. I feel sorry for all those people who bought slow cookers in the literal decades between when they first hit the market and when you published.
