I bought my 1.4 Leon in October of this year as my second car after having my license for a Year. And I’m absolutely in love with it. Everything about it is perfect, and I can drive around town staying in 5th gear which is so convenient. Such a great car

Seat cars are so good.Iv a 2022 Seat Tarraco 2.0tdi Fr 150,we went on holiday in it and from Scotland back to the Midlands on a clean run it did 62mpg,there were in the car and out luggage,between 60-70mph all the way.

Have a Leon ST FR TDI 184, and I absolutely love it! Arguably a better-looking and better driving car than a Golf. The interior isn't as plush but crucially, not to point where it is a dealbreaker, still a good interior.

Had a 17 plate Leon estate 1.6tdi and put 122k miles on it. Only problem was a leaking drive shaft seal. The infotainment system with CarPlay was excellent I guess the interior and sound deadening is not quite upto golf/Audi standards but it was a car I look back fondly of 😊

Had one for 3 years pre face lift version 1.4tsi Very nippy for the engine! It’s not fast but is quick! And a decent mpg even with a heavy foot!

Nice video Tom I agree 1.4 with a stage 1 map would be more than enough power, and i love that with most of the leon models you can turn the tcr off it really is a hoot to drive. Can you do an review on the mk7.5 GTD that is a weapon.

The mk7.5 gtd is the same as the mk7 gtd which he's already reviewed except it has a virtual cockpit and upgraded infotainment.

Had 2 mk3 Leon's absolutely loved them but both had water ingress in the rear footwell same place on both cars coincidence or just my luck had it back to seat under warranty multiple times and they could never get to the bottom of it would have kept my first 1.8 Leon if it not been for the issue the car was so fun to drive

Biggest issues are the interior. It’s nowhere near as nice as a mk 7 golf interior. Leon insurance is also a lot more than a golf’s.

TDI 184! 2016 ST FR model here. Independent rear suspension, bigger brakes, and electronic differential. Just as previously mentioned, keep an eye on the oil level because they can drink a fair amount

@@Godot28 not bright are you, why I said a more cheaper alternative a golf. Mercedes best the Audis interior & they’re similar price point. Rs3 interior in the pre 8y is exactly the same as a S3 & black edition 1.0. Horrible idea. Horrible quality for its money.
