I had the same issue on my 2023 Ultimate, drove my entirely insane also! Its the cab vents, dealerships wouldnt help me for shit they said no issue. I took it apart and took the vents out, added sound deadener to the cheap flaps of the vents on the outside to add weight to them since they were paper thin- made all the difference. The flaps now are weighted and dont rattle over every small ass bump in the road.

Hi Michael, can you share a link to what sound deadener material you bought for this? I have the same issue with my 2023 sierra & it drives me nuts. Love the truck, but this type of annoyance makes me want to trade it in on a different brand of truck!

Agreed about the Ram statement. All I had one was factory speaker (not alpine or harman/kardon) blow out on me. But as far as ride quality, no issues.

Glad I'm not the only one. I found that the rattle doesn't happen as much when you have the seats raised to the stow position. But as soon as I put the seats down, the rattle happens over every bump in the road. It drives me crazy. I always thought it had to do with something in the storage area under the seats but nope.

Just bought a 23 Denali and drove from North Texas to Oxford MS this past weekend. I have 1500 miles on it but haven't heard the rattle yet. Could you hear from the time you first bought it or did it creep up over time?

I heard mine right away- thought it was a loose panel. Turned out to be the cab vents.

I couldn’t get the vents out from inside so I just put Kilmat over the whole thing and poked a couple of holes in it and so far so good.

I have this too. And radio cuts out, and windshield wiper goes off when I turn right. Truck has been to the dealership 4 times for radio and 2 times for blinker. still no fix. Next dealership will be ford or toyota to unload this lemon

Ford's gonna be crap and the toyota's v6 tt is a twin turbo hunka junk. ALL. I repeat ALL makers are going as cheap as possible. RAM'S are going STRAIGHT from assembly line into repair, wiring harnesses are too short an don't seating, and the Hurricane engines? Plastic. Thermostats.

I bought a brand new 2024 Chevy Silverado 2024 LTZ duramax 80,000 truck and have the same problem at speeds of 3 or 4 miles an hour driving over bumps. Very aggravating. Can you post a KZbin video showing how to fixed the rear seats vent flaps

Add sound deadener to the flaps of your cab vents. You have to remove the back seat and take the vents out but once insulated it adds weight to the flaps and they wont rattle anymore.

My 2023 AT4 does it all the time. It sounds like my windows are open. I drive it to mexico often. My cousins would make fun of me that my truck rattles more then their 1994 explorer 😂😂😂😂. I am selling mine for the high output ram.

I have a Silverado and I have had 6 recalls. Three major repairs. I wouldn't pay 80 grand for any truck. My nephew is shop supervisor for a large Dodge dealer and he said that they seem the same Ram Tuff Dodge trucks coming back over and over. I have a new Supra and my gf drives a new Tundra. I will never buy anything else again.

Stick some foam or tissue in the vents so they stay open and see if it stops. N+Be glad you don't have the noise mine makes and the new brackets didn't stop it.

Insulate the outside of your cab vents to add weight to them.. they are paper thin and rattling when you go over any and everything. Had the same issue. Dealerships were zero help. Cab vents were poorly designed so had to retrofit them to eliminate the noise.

Go back and buy another POS Ram and get new tires at 9000 miles , new ball joints at 12000 miles. You might want to have a very good extended warranty to pay for everything else that will fail on every POS Dodge RAM!!!
