I have been using earth breeze for over a year now, but I'm willing to try breezeo. But here's the thing I would never ever put stained up clothes in the washer without putting my stain remover on them. Which is, perioxde, blue dawn dish liquid, and baking soda these 3 things together always gets whatever is stained right out. I swear by this stuff. It has saved me many, many times over the years.

You did a great job in comparing brands. So helpful. Of course no one expects makeup and sauce stains to be that awful, so I get the point of your video was to show what the various sheets actually did. Thank you🥰

I never put laundry in that has stains like that on it! I pre-treat stains before they go in. I make sure that the whole stain is out before I put it into the laundry. Stuff is just too expensive to let go like that
@CleanFreakGermaphobe2 жыл бұрын
That’s the best way to do it for sure. However consumers care about their laundry detergent to be stain fighting and brightening.
@JulieWallis19632 жыл бұрын
But retreating the stains until they were no longer there would make the washing sheets test unnecessary.
@raheenthomas44512 жыл бұрын
whats the best way to pre treat a stain?
@tiffanywilliams30192 жыл бұрын
What do you use to get the whole stain out besides laundry detergent 🤔
@jcmhanel12 жыл бұрын
@@tiffanywilliams3019 One thing I use is original Dawn. If it is a greasy stain, I use DEP degreaser, rub it in then follow up with original Dawn dish washing liquid. Rub it in very well. I use this on spaghetti sauce stains. I try to treat as soon as possible. Depending on the stain such as blood, I just rub in dawn and scrub and watch for the stain to start disappearing.. I then scrub under running cold water and repeat with the Dawn. Removing stains is not always easy but I have saved pieces of clothing.

To reduce plastics I changed to powdered detergent in the old fashioned cardboard box. Considered going to the sheets for space saving but the cost per load based on this report is too high. I am a senior on a tight budget. Guess I'll just stick with the powdered. I pretreat all stains.

Tru Earth is FABULOUS! My clothes get clean and it's such a space saver. I order a years supply and just got my 2nd year delivered. If you have a residue you are not using enough water. Also keep in mind if you have hard water vs soft water on how your detergent works. Also Tru Earth is made in Canada. Earth Breeze is from China. I am not familiar with the other 2 brands. I’ve been using sheets and I find that they don’t always dissolve. I was hoping your video would cover dissolving for all 4 brands. I typically find that 20% of the time sheets left soap smears and I had to rewash the items.
@CleanFreakGermaphobe2 жыл бұрын
Put them in first, before your clothes. Or tear them up and put them in the space for detergent. Then if they don’t dissolve then they will stay in that compartment. I think different washing machines do better with detergent sheets than others. I’ve not had a problem with them not dissolving. I did dissolve tests on a few brands and learned they are all very different and dissolve differently in hot, warm and cold water. I don’t have the links to the tests but they’re on our link to our Amazon shop. You can search the word strips on our videos and see them. Hope this helps!
@RaindropMint Жыл бұрын
You could also put them in a bowl of hot/warm water before and then dump into your wash. This way you don’t have to re wash

You didn’t show the pricing of the Earth Breeze? At the moment it’s $12 for 60 sheets or .20 cents per load. Any reason it was left out?
@diannawilliams64942 жыл бұрын
Earth breeze is $12 for 30 sheets, not 60, with a subscription. $20 for 30 sheets without a subscription. 1 sheet will do 1 large load. Half a sheet for medium loads. They put "up to" in small letters with "60" in large lettering, "loads" in medium lettering. Common trick companies get you with. Most people do large loads.

It doesn’t look like any brand won. The stains were still there. And besides I would’ve pretreated the stains beforehand. Also, just a suggestion but people need to use fragrance free detergents. The perfume/fragrance in detergents have chemicals in them that are carcinogenic, and you breathe these chemicals in.

It’s true, not healthy. But it matters to so many people. You can always put something in your drawer to add scent with a natural oil. I should do that.

Tried these, and they worked well enough, but the cost just doesn't make it attractive enough to make the change. Right now, I'm using Ecos laundry detergent that costs me $12.91 at Sam's, and I get 230 loads. That lasts me and my wife roughly over two years. We average two large loads a week. I got 60 loads of earth breeze sheets, and it cost me the same price. Sorry, but I just don't feel guilty enough about throwing a plastic laundry jug into a landfill every two years to warrant a change. Bring the cost down on the sheets, and then we'll talk.
