Yes, Sir. Mushroom seed you can keep it in room temperature in some dark place. Steaming or cooking is not wrong, as they keep water content and act as easy food for the mycelium or fungus to grow.

Wheat, covers, Parent Mushroom spawn that we can buy for first time, rubber bands, cotton. Once you develop this spawn, this can be used further for making more spawn. It's just like adding little curd to milk, so on.
