Alcohol and cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

My Dad was a commercial mushroom grower for nearly 50 years. He would have caught a few of the errors right away. Yep. That was straw in the compost (aka substrate), not wood chips. The straw probably came from a horse farm or racetrack. Still, there was some good and useful information in the video. Dad would have a lot to say about the mechanical harvesting. I have picked a few baskets of mushrooms, and I have handled the manual straw loading device (aka pitchfork).

Most of the People that they hired when it 1st opened were older Ladies (No Offense Intended) that were just out there to have something to do and Socialize while making a couple of Bucks. My 2 Friends and I were 19 year old Males and we were there for the money. It wasn't long before the 3 of us were each making over $10.00 an hour and the Ladies didn't like that. So they moved me to Crew Leader and my 2 Friends were put on running the Forklifts. As a Crew Leader, I was expected to help the Ladies Pick. Their attitudes toward me changed dramatically when it became me picking with them and them suddenly making more money, LOL!

That's what we call the real bottleneck {pun intended!} in small scale mushroom farming! Where did the old substrate go after the 2nd/3rd flush? Answer: "Obviously Into a skip which has no bottom".
