I'm still using Samsungs 2009 flagship B8500 back lit led. I'm assuming your Pioneer (Kuro?) is the same vintage. Great tv's at that time. The B8500 and Pioneer Kuro were the best at that time.

Wise topic, but even for untrained eyes like my mother and nephew were blown away by qd oled in store and my ex girlfriend was amazed by pq of G4

Aha! But as a camera enthusiast I will say you are describing macro contrast…. Oled will still give you micro contrast for “3d pop” 😂

@18yearsoldnot yes but once the room is lit than it is very difficult for un trained eye to see the difference if they don't see side by side and cost difference is only for high end enthusiast even my brother with 65" G4 as daily he says this si very good picture things are improwing too fast and difference in quality gap is closing quite faster than we adapt to models or series. I am just rying to teach people so they might choose the road of mid ground mini Led or Qled for better budget friendly solution. You can check my early video if you like Dont Buy Oled Get Projector + Qled Video kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnvIZIWcprWod8Usi=oew74DB2i9mKqj_q New setup kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4G5dIFnoZeSjassi=U5J9QRuGqgBkLX0V İs still under the price of 75" Oled G4 including TV Welcome to the channel

light room destroys HDR content of every TV. When the pupils constrict, our eyes are limited in their perception of contrast and then it's harde to say which TV is better. When in a dark room the near black level of you're TV is good enough and when pixels can reach up to 1000 NITS as specified by HDR, then you have the the max, in-image-contrast is high enough gives you a 3D look like effect viewers can see, when there is no (or very low) ambient light.

@@mayday6880 that is why I am talking about bigger ALR screens + UST Projectors + Regular QLED / Mini LED TV Setups instead of going most extreme oled tv solutions kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnvIZIWcprWod8U video was my first guide about this consept but soon I will launch 75" TV vs 120" Projector Setup I have kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4G5dIFnoZeSjassi=QSArOfimcLOqY1rE I think that will change some perspective

@ it’s absolutely true. Particularly when oled screens are so glossy, you feel like you spend more time looking at the reflections than the content
