Pairing whatever buds, you want also just doesn't work that way. Latency is a big issue, and forcing consumers to buy supported buds limits the amount of issue that could crop up. There are a lot of people who would be quick to blame Sony the moment something doesn't work.

Hi may I ask you something please? I have a smartphone with Bluetooth 5.0 and the ear buds soundcore liberty 4 but in call quality there is much noise when I am outside. Anything like your review. If I upgrade a phone with better Bluetooth connection I will see any change?

I still use my vr p10 but my grip with them is the mixing between dongle and Bluetooth, the one or the other with music/ notifications. I’m getting my explore buds for Christmas so I’ll be checking them out soon.

You should try the JBL Quantum TWS and the JBL Quantum TWS Air version. Good wireless earbuds for Playstation and it has a mobile app for EQ

A pleasant surprise about the Soundcore's. After about 50 hours of burn in time, those 11mm drivers really wake up. These things bass as hard as my Technics AZ80's, not as detailed but still very surprising. All for $55!

I think they worth $200 because you paying for the AI noise cancellation, lossless audio for gaming, ear buds for PS5 and PS Portal, able to listen to two devices at once with it having PS link button on both PS Pulse Explorers buds, and planar magnetic drivers which are for the top line headphones

They actually don’t have noise cancelation and produce practically no bass at all. Granted there are sounds I never heard before playing other games but it feels a little unnatural for there to be non existent bass.

@talleron24 you hearing the 3D Tempest audio when you play games. You will hear audio from the game that is not visible to your eyes but it's making sound in the game. You are right. It's AI Noise Isolation for the mic so when you gaming your teammates online won't hear you eating or your background.

I have the soundcore and the pulse explore Personally I like the playstation ones better Yes the connection range is less but the audio is better on gaming than the soundcore

I was hopeful for them, but having this disconnect issue every time I've used them, I'm better off returning them. It sounds good as far as clarity, but I keep getting blips in the sound and there is practically no bass. First time I used a hand cannon on destiny 2..... I knew something in the sound department was missing.

I dont agree, there is one reason to buy the explore and thats 3D tempest on the go, now other headphone on the marcket can achieve that and knowing PS nothing ever will. For that reason only (if you also upgrade the ear tips) you need the explore, the difference between the pulse explore and a pair of headphones connected to the audio jack is 10 times getter. But I agree on that the Insone just sound better and are much more customizable and the longer battery life is a no brainer. You can use them with the portal at home connected to your ps5 but on the go, the Explore are the kings. No doubt about it.
